Pur non conoscendo la misura esatta del nostro peso all'atterraggio posso stimare che, visto il load factor piuttosto basso (non so la situazione nella zona cargo), l'aeromobile era verosimilmente molto "leggero", cosa che normalmemte non aiuta un atterraggio "morbido". Ciao! Se hai questa sensazione forse è consigliabile prendere un posto corridoio anziché uno finestrino. Hi, she didn't any mistake. Basicly you should be right: the difference between US and Portugal is normally 5 h. But not all year long. In fact in the US the daylight time is on since the second sunday of March while in EU we turn into daylight time just at the last week end of March. During those two weeks Portugal timezone is still WET (UTC + 0) while in NYC they already have EDT (UTC-4). Then Portugal is just 4 hours haead of NYC in this short timeframe. Hi, Thankfully we flew through turbulence areas just twice: the first while climbing over New York area and then, ER, over northern Canada. In the second part of the flight in particular there was no significant weather. Coming to your question: In theory, yes, the smaller is an aircraft, the more it could be unsteady while crossing turbulence areas. But in this particular case, I mean the strong tailwind and the stormy areas over US and Canada, I don't think flying aboard an A380 or a B747 would have made any difference We would have experienced roughly about the same turbulence. About UA and LH I can just express a personal opinion but I found UA economy ( B789 and B772) a little better than LH A359 one. In particular in relation of the seat standard. I warn you I'm just an aviation enthusiast, not a professional travel agent, so my info are only indicative and could not be completely accurate 1. Volotea gives you two options: a. To add to your ticket the priority boarding service. This service allows you to carry on board a standard 55 x 40 x 20 /10 Kg hand luggage ( a cabin standard trolley for example) b. To add a 10Kg (or 20 Kg or 25Kg) checked luggage to drop at the counters at the airport 2. You can add these services everytime till 2,5 hours before departure (but of course you have to add when you perform your check-in at the latest) 3. You can buy these services online. The online option is actually the cheapest. You just have to recall your booking and buy the service 4. The price actually depends on the flight you're going fly. I can't tell you exactly what's going to be. 5. Volotea even gives the chance to buy a "combo" package of services including the priority boarding (combo go) and the registered luggage (combo plus). Hi! It depends on the destination you come from or you go to. EU rules appy. Coming from/ going to Schengen dest. you should be just required to carry with you an ID card and show it before boarding or when requested Coming from/ going to non-Schengen countries you must perform a passport check both at the departure and at the arrival. Furthermore, where the dest. country requires you must have a visa as well. These are the rules of thumb but there can be exceptions. Consequently to be sure to comply with the rules I always carry my passport with me when I travel abroad. Greetings!

Ciao! La domanda: " aereo o treno?" nel trasporto a breve raggio ha dato vita ad una questione molto dibattuta. Quando il confronto fra i due mezzi è basato su parametri oggettivi è chiaro che esiste una risposta altrettanto oggettiva. Per esempio se facciamo riferimento alle emissioni di CO2 è palese che il treno è il mezzo meno impattante e, dove sia ragionevolmente sostituibile, è meglio preferirlo all'aereo e all'automobile. Ma se parliamo di "comodità" ci riferiamo ad un parametro molto più composito e soggettivo. Provo a farti qualche considerazione in merito. Sicuramente il tempo di percorrenza di una tratta è un dato oggettivo ed ha un rilievo centrale. Poi però bisogna considerare anche la distanza e l'accessibilità della tua destinazione finale di partenza e di arrivo dalla stazione o dall'aeroporto. E questo può cambiare le cose in modo non marginale. In secondo luogo c'è un problema legato alla tipologia di viaggio (point to point o transito, lavoro o piacere, etc..) e agli orari degli impegni a destinazione. E infine la questione forse più rilevante: viaggiare è un piacere? Che mezzo si preferisce? cosa stanca o infastidisce di più in un viaggio? Cosa si preferisce fare quando si è a bordo del mezzo di trasporto? E qui ogni soluzione ha i suoi pro e i suoi contro per cui ognuno decide secondo i suoi gusti personali. Quello che possiamo dire con una certa sicurezza sono le seguenti cose: - Nei collegamenti point to point sotto i 400Km l'AV ha totalmente sostituito l'aereo - In questo tipo di collegamenti l'aereo conserva una sua capacità competitiva solo in caso di voli in connessione (per es: BLQ-FCO-GRU) o in assenza di AV (per es: GOA-FCO) - I dati sulla ripartizione dei flussi di pax fra treno e aereo sulla direttrice Roma - Milano-Roma dicono che il treno ha conquistato la leadership di mercato anche se non ha spiazzato del tutto l'aereo. Infatti fra LIN e FCO AZ ha ancora, mi pare ,15 voli al giorno per tratta, concentrati soprattutto la mattina presto e la sera, il che vuol dire che cmq esiste una domanda di trasporto aereo su quella rotta. - Sulla FCO-LIN-FCO l'aereo conserva una sua nicchia di mercato in caso di viaggio A/R in giornata o in caso di orari di soglia (mattina molto presto o tarda serata). Concordo, gran bella macchina: comoda e silenziosa. Il pezzo forte però secondo me è il layout. Il sedile è, si, essenziale, ma anche molto comodo per essere di tipologia "slim" . La qual cosa gli consente peraltro di ooffire un generoso spazio per le gambe. I più considerano l'A220 come punta di diamante della flotta narrow body di AZ, ma io gli preferisco decisamente l'A32N. Beh... diciamo che ITA ha ereditato una parte della vecchia flotta di Alitalia (A320-200, A319, e A332), e, in altra parte , sta acquisendo nuovi modelli per rinnovare il suo parco aeromobili. Insieme al A359 e al A330neo che sono per il lungo raggio, ha ordinato una di A320neo per il breve/medio raggio. Quindi si, il 320 neo è un nuovo modello e in particolare EI-HJD (quello del TR) è il penultimo entrato in flotta. Spero di avere risposto alla tua domanda. Grazie per il tuo commento. Un saluto!
