I love the California Girl line, my friend. It's one of my favorite lines of Barbie. In the Barbie Basics timeline, the ones with black dress, I made these dolls friends of Barbie and company. The blonde I called her Patsy and she's a model and the owner of the beach joint restaurant at California. Patsy lives with her husband, Roger (Cali Girl Ken) and has daughters which are the other California Girl Barbie dolls. Betsy, the surfer, Dixie, the horse rider and Country music star, Sandy, the Hawaiian hair girl, Mindy, the earrings girl and Mitsy, the tanned Fashionista girl. The Teresa I called her Belinda and she's the sister of Julissa (California Girl Teresa surfer). Both are daughters of Alyssa, the Teresa holiday doll of 2024. Alyssa is Teresa's sister and the aunt of Teresa's daughters, Clarissa, Teresa Jr, Cecilia and Minerva, making Belinda and Julissa cousins of them. The Christie I called her Brenda and she's Christie's second daughter after Christie Jr, which is Fashionista 89. Brenda is the older sister of Nancy, the surfer Christie, Misty, the earrings Christie and Sissy, Hawaiian hair Christie. Christie is the African American holiday Barbie of 2020 and she's married with Steven in the Barbie Basics timeline. The Lea I called her Mia and she's Lea's cousin. Mia lives with her sisters, Maya, the surfer and Freya, the horse rider and country music star. Mia loves to visit her cousin Lea and her sisters Pia and Kia, which are the Leas of Barbie Basics.

Love this video!! Have you ever done a more in depth video on cleaning/hairstyling? I recently bought some Mary-Kate and Ashley dolls and clothes on ebay but they ended up arriving smelling of cigarette smoke that still hasn't come out after a couple washes and I'd love to try and fix them up more!

I love how you customize your doll's wardrobe. I'm with you with the Cali girls Barbies - love their hair, faces, outfits, etc, but those FEET! 😂 My Cali girls are all hippie types that go barefoot.

I adore the way you redressed your $1 Barbie from the garage sale. She looks so chic in her sunglasses and head wrap. Way to go! She reminds me of Marilyn Monroe. Just FYI the lines on the black stockings are supposed to be worn in the back. It’s supposed to be a “sexy look” with the lines going up the back of the legs. Oh yes, and that beautiful pink fur wrap actually belongs to 1981 Pink and Pretty Barbie. I loved her as a little girl! 💞

The prices at the antique store were not buyer friendly ☹️ The only doll I would have gotten was Rosie O’Donnell for $15 which was actually a really good price 🙂 But your best purchase(s) would have to be Queen Amidala especially the one with the bonus face 😊 And just a helpful tip, the Google app has the camera feature that sometimes helps with identifying the unknown doll faces 😌 it’s not perfect, but it’s a starting point for me at times ✨💖✨

That isn't Dee Dee from Barbie and The Rockers. Mattel had the bright idea of using many of the same head molds for many different dolls .It is the Spanish/Hispanic head mold. It was used for many different barbies (Teresa, Christie, Black Barbie etc.) I think the one in the video might be Sunsational Malibu Barbie, Hispanic #4970.

I think if anything, since they’ll likely be taken off the shelves now, collectors and Wicked fans in general who want them or have maybe been saving up for them now won’t be able to afford the super high prices. Or they’ll have to wait for the rerelease. And my guess is they’ll likely not release the same number of units the second time around.

Some of my favorite collab dolls that they did are the Adams Family (Morticia and Wednesday 2 pack), Elvira, and this might be a hot take but I LOVE my Annabelle doll. I love how she comes in a box made to look like the case they seal the real one in, as well as the little chair, I just adore her. Overall, Morticia and Wednesday are probably my favorite, just because the little details were so cute, and they released one of the most beautiful Morticia dolls ever.
