Well chiming in here a little late after about 2 years of wearing the 8-in marins. when they came out in 22, I just bought a pair in 20 Chippewa had asked if they were going to make a 8-in they said they were working on it so I bought some 2 years later! I wore Red Wing 411s for quite a minute years! They seem to hold up fairly well even though they're made in China like everything else, I would say the bottom held up quite better than the chippewas and the Red wings seem to fade pretty fast, as far as the leather goes chippewas are probably King then Red wings then these but for the price is 24 I'm looking for a new pair I'll probably get brunts again! For the price can't beat it man save yourself 80 bucks I go through work boots every two years so that's about what they get for me anyways! If it's Chippewa Red wings or brunt I get about 2 years out of each one before the bottoms go! They live 😎

You could probably make the support shelves on the left/right of the shelves a quarter inch thinner which would allow them to be flush with the face boards on the dividers

I've never had a pair of boots last much longer than a year other than some double h boots that I paid a lot for. Any boot I had that is comparable price to brunt last maybe a year.

I can see the reason behind the second clamp. You glue it and you clamp so you don’t make holes but the first one is only acceptable if you are assembling something extremely custom but is just door casing. Just biscuit and AC glue for a strong joint if you don’t want holes if not just wood glue and 2 16 ga nails and keep it rolling. Nobody got the time to wait for that glue to dry 😂
