Not to take away from your video. But these boots are garbage. I spent 150$ for a pair of boots to barely last 4 months. The bottoms were completely gone. And I do new construction hvac. So I’m not even that hard on my boots mostly concrete/plywood flooring. They’re junk and don’t back their product past 30 days.

I have had them tear at the toe due to not applying tuff toe and the way I sit/kneel while trimming but not the sole get that messed up. That’s crazy and sucks to hear. For me at least on a price to durability perspective I’ve been happy so far..

I have had lined boots from many other brands but these truly do breathe outstanding. They are the only waterproof boots I can wear in South Texas without my sweat puddling in them!

Lined boots which are waterproof usually don’t breathe at all so if you sweat a lot the it puddles in your boots but unlike many pairs I’ve had these breathe awesome 🤙🏻

@@J3rryswinger The only paid promotion I've seen is Thursday boot company, they're the scourge of the corporate world. All brand management and product positioning with zero substance. You could buy a pair of Indonesian boots from Sagara or Junkart company which are 10 times better at the cost. Those boots are hand welted,hand stitched with stacked leather heels and double layer leather midsoles and THE original Daynite outsoles at the same damn price.

@@texascarpenter I bought a pair of their slip on boots and the moc toe. Both smeeled like plastic. I sent a message to the company with no reply. I meant to return them but I was past the 30 day grace period. I have not worn them because of that synthetic smell.

For those of you who do not know, the leather quality scale is as follows: Full Grain leather, Top Grain leather, and the least durable is Genuine Leather. The very bottom portion of the leather closest to the inside of the animal.

For the price I’ve yet to have a better pair. Couple tears on the toe due to the way I sit/kneel while trimming and no tuff toe applied so to be expected. The comfort is still outstanding and they’re still waterproof!

I ordered them a .5 size smaller. Perfect fit out of the box! Depending on the fit you like they do fit pretty true to size.

They’ll outlast Red Wing. Thorogood makes great boots for sure! Red Wing are some of the most comfortable 4 month boots ever!

@@texascarpenter nahhh redwing would last me a year doing tree service and also when I hardscaped. They could go a little longer than a year but my employer gave me $200 towards new ones every year. I put them through hell and the first thing to go would be the soles from pavement or pavers but redwing would resole them if I sent them in ( @ what cost, idk). But They own Irish setters and I got a western style work boot that I loved. Got a new job so I’m getting these Brunt’s in the mail tomorrow.

I liked the red wings I had last but someone told me try hawx boots and I love the hawx boot.. my next try is going to be twisted x lace up.. I like the way these brunt and qlty boots look I just don't like not being able to try them on first

@@gilbriden12 not as well as i expected. i do like them fore regular wear and they are comfortable but there's a spot on both of my boots now where the sole is becoming detached almost an inch long, its gotta be from poor adhesive. Most days i dont even have to wear them bc i go into scrubs more often but when i wear them for the more construction related work (in some wet areas and climbing on racks) they should be holding up WAY better for "quality" boots in my opinion bc im really not beating the shit out of them like i was with other boots and they already show signs of weakness.

wow a 2 weeks please give a review Sep 2022 on the same boots see how they last and if there are worth resoles when they ware down I don't mean to a troll but to determined how good a pair boots are is how many resoles you can do on boots I have buying and waring boots hard for over 30 years and I have worn Redwing ,Thorogood and now Nicks there is a big difference in boots when you work 8-12 hrs 5-6 days a week need a boot that will protect !

Absolutely planning on updates along the timeline of owning these boots. As clearly stated in this video was first impressions of the boot and durability of such. I have owned plenty of boots and have a good sense of front end durability. Take a review for what it means to you and if you’re a boot expert please share your experiences with others!

You must be sponsored. I'll agree that these boots are amazingly comfortable. Other than that they are junk. They are not waterproof and the leather isn't tough at all. I do construction and the 8" Marin is completely subpar. I've owned a pair for a month and am already looking for a better boot so my feet will stay dry.

I ordered mine .5 size smaller..Depends on the fit you like. I’d say they run very true to sizing however I like a certain fit in my work boots..

Solid so far..Shoe laces needed replacing and couple small tears at toe due to the way I sit/kneel while doing trim and I never put tuff toe so that’s to be expected. Longest lasting pair I’ve had and comfort is still outstanding
