I caught you because of RadaraOmega; you have a cyclonePort setup, so when I saw that, I found your KZbin channel. I imagine you already know, but there was damage in Manson, as you drove through town after the tornado did its damage; there’s no eating yet on it.

I live in Southeast coastal NC . We do not get snow anymore. Global warming? Earth entering a warming period, drifting towards the sun.? We used to get snow. Twice we've had freaking blizzards. First in early 70, s then again in 89 we had in my life our first White Christmas. Maybe 10 years after we get a weather like normal when we get snow. Rain with colder air moving turning to sleet later possible mix , then turning to just snow around day break. We'll it rained and rained turning to sleet I went to bed. Woke up and snow and no work. They close the state down at hint of snow. Schools , liquor store. brain activity all shuts down. I d been up an hour maybe 5 am when windows lit up everywhere. Then one of the loudest claps of thunder rattling the windows. Lightning Thunder

What time did you shoot this? I was up around 4-5 am north of Creston IA and did not catch anything as amazing as the June 2015 aurora.

Generally the better displays here in IA are not from the highly advertised events. The KP index was hovering around 5/6 but the Bz was oriented pretty far south. I believe 9 or 10nt

Had this in GA Jan 2011, it caught me off guard, sudden light up of everything and then crackle.

thunder snow is probably the greatest thing ever. i have experienced it a few times in Vancouver, Canada

We've lived in Wichita KS for 20+ years and I think I've only seen 3-4 thundersnows. So awesome!
