Gilmore City, IA Tornado 4/12/2022

On April 12, 2022 a moderate risk of severe thunderstorms was outlooked for much of Northern Iowa. Late in the afternoon storms quickly erupted and a supercell developed a stovepipe tornado near the town of Gilmore City. The tornado did damage several farms along its path but no reports of serious injuries.
