Great point on not celebrating Christmas. Not exactly proud of lying to my sisters and my mom but I told them I had to work on Christmas Eve to avoid doing anything to celebrate a pagan holiday. They were going to go to my gay cousin's house with her wife and celebrate it with their family and the last time I went over there, there were so many pagan decorations on the wall (lot of Buddhist stuff) and other things and I didn't feel spiritually comfortable being in that environment.
