I want to follow Jesus. I have been preparing for baptism in the Adventist Church. I believe that the Sabbath is biblical, that Jesus’ blood saves us, we are under grace, but we do not have a license to sin. However, I am a friend of this church, not a member, even though I agree with them. I want to follow Jesus, not the church. But if I don’t say “yes” 13 times, and the church does not accept me as a member, I won’t receive baptism.
