Thats why i came out of the church it was not changing my life. I would go in feeling down and come out the same as i went in. I personally got close to God more and more at home and reading my Bible for myself and a daily prayer life. Plus they were celebrating all the worldly holidays etc.

My mom mentioned that my church has a men's Bible study and I don't have anything really against the older guys that attend it from whom she mentioned, but I feel like I get more out of reading the Bible for myself and watching a Bible summary video on youtube if I'm confused and it's quicker to do in all honesty.

It was more like an exclusive country club for Southerners at that time. I still don't need a huge beautiful church ro worship in to this day. It’s crazy because on some Sundays if I didn’t show up they would see me in public and act like they didn’t even know me! I be like Wow!! These spirits are real man! There's too many churches now that are "dark" when you come in, dark during praise & worship, dark during the sermon, dark after the sermon. The atmosphere has totally changed, the response is "We need to touch the young people & bring them to Christ!". It's a night club atmosphere, with colored lights, strobe lights, etc. When the lighting totally changes the sanctuary's presence; with the sense & feel that we aren't a beacon of light, shouldn't this act makes us all hesitant & wonder? Christ is light! God is light! It's Satan that's all about darkness! When we are searching for God, we are searching for the light! We are searching for truth & a real change, a healthy switch from what we used to be - how we used to live. We don't want to live in darkness any longer. We're not interested in the darkness of sin any longer. We starve, crave for Christ, & his anointing. These churches need to be called out. There's becoming more & more of this type of behavior, without regard to what the saints (true followers of Jesus Christ) want in a church. We're being told "This is how it's going to be!" In my opinion, this behavior from the pastoral staff & some members, of so many churches, is that this is a form of witchcraft. It's a constant ritual every Sunday. This should make us all wonder "What's really going on"? Reminds us of Masonic temples and what they do. . . 🧐

I haven't experienced this however.. I have where some people (using ones who've attended a long time & serving)...they behave like "Sin Police"...too much! It's one thing to bring correction (biblically) but I'm talking more about a subtlety in their demeanor (like judgemental looks) or even if they do speak, there's a subtle passive/aggressiveness or the correction but in the wrong or inappropriate context. Like when someone dealing with grief and the person says you have lack of trust in God (which is not the case) or you're wrong for something (which has nothing to do with the situation). So instead of loving & giving them a comforting hug & say sorry for your loss.. You're given a lecture. Too many people rather give you their Bible knowledge rather than using the gifts like compassion, patience, genuine hospitality ect..

Oh my! This is a fact. I attended several podcasts on KZbin from Africa. Most of the time, the Lord has led me to dark places to bring light into dark areas as an angel. Once the Holy Spirit revealed to me what was going on, I called it out, my time was up, and God mission was fulfilled in those areas.
