Great video , way to much work for me , and I'm not smart enough to figure all that kit and don't have enough patience either , for myself , I'm gonna have to let you have the one of a kind trailer and deal with mine stock height , I'm glad you could get it done, thanks for sharing this video

There's a fine line when adding weight to your truck. You can definitely make a truck too heavy and can start working against your trucks performance. Too much weight can be hard on the drivetrain and also break things in a flip and tumble situation. It can also affect your incline, decent and side pitch abilities. I would start with heavier bead lock wheels, {again not to heavy, just heavier then what you got on there now,} upgrade to metal knuckles and c-hubs, (not necessarily brass, but maybe,) and maybe metal axil housings. Start with that and see if you can get those tires to hook up better on those rocks. If that don't work then your gunna want to look into different tires at that point. Different tires for different rocks.

I like my SSD Diamond Pro Axles and all the aluminum & brass stuff, my ecto is plenty heavy down low. 👍🏻

As soon as he mentioned water coming in I stopped the video. American companies build such cheap junk...disgrace.

Crawler science.!!! People hate rotational weight, but one of my go to's are Beef Tube's beef patty's brake rotors. They look the part, and ad weight on the corners.

My Trailwalker performs excellent after I installed Artful Dodgers servo on axle mount. That's one Mod that really made a big difference! Treal has a few Vintage designed wheels you might like, the heavy iron inner rings they come with give you a lot of weight down low. Cheers RC Everyday 🍻

Like @BrokeAgainRC said, SSD brass knuckles and diff covers. They have the best looking brass, it's a nice gun metal looking brass. Treal is also really great quality and usually weighs more than the SSD brass. Treal wheels are also a nice ad on for weight, they come with heavy iron inner rings. Cheers RC Everyday 🍻Keep it scale!

Get the SSD brass knuckles. They are awesome. Great quality imo. And get a brass diff cover on the front axle. See what that does for it.

Good video , I have the Fusion 1800 SE in my rust bucket Blazer, love it. The 1200 se doesn’t have enough wheel speed but the 1800 does and seems to be just as good as the pro . Only difference is you can’t tune the se like the pro, it doesn’t have as many programming options. My skid plate is stock, I run trails and some crawling , doesn’t hang up enough to worry about. Nice to see you running that thing , looks great 👍

I'm running the A&M skid with anti wrap bar (had the rc4wd version but it doesn't fit the skid w/o modifying that heavy steel) and I think its about as good as it gets. Also running the fusion se and a 3s. Only complaint is if you hit the throttle just a bit too hard, the truck will take off like a drag car. So throttle discipline is a must. This is the 4runner. Installed the super soft leafsrpings with one helper and it flexes really well. Just installed 4.19 Goodyears and while they're pretty dang big, they look great. Also did the longer shock hoops with 90mm shocks.

Wow, thanks for this in depth review. Nice to hear details from someone who builds and understands what's quality and what's not. I guess if you're 6'3" at 5'2" I think I'll be comfortable. Just have to say you got me with "I don't necessarily like ppl." lol Me either!

What do you think of oklahoma? Know anything about wilburton area? Positive or negetive.
@RCeveryday
@RCeveryday 3 күн бұрын
Ive got mixed feelings about these rural land spots, sold mine after a few years. Wilburton was only 40 minutes north of where mine was. I know the place I bought from had some massive properties/communities up there I looked at online. Way too big in my opinion. I watched my peaceful spot change from quiet and private, to a dumping ground with squatters, to too many full timers living in the area, careless hunters, generators running all night, etc. It lost its charm. The towns dont have much, mine was near Clayton. Had a dollar general and a choctaw nation gas station and market. No one liked me rolling up with texas plates, lol. Any road not a 2 lane gets no maintenance, and I never left anything valuable up there between trips. It is the most beautiful part of oklahoma though, small mountains and forrest. Next time around I will buy more acreage away from these "subdivided" "rent to own" type spots. Taxes were dirt cheap though. lol

Had to look in the instructions, it calls for trimming 2mm from each steering turnbuckle end to allow clearance for the adjustable center (upgrade blue part) that comes with the R kit.
