A Tip for anyone; You don't have to grind the lips off the wheel wells to gain clearance, you can simply make a few cuts in the corners then fold the lips over to the inside. That would give you the extra space while also keeping the strength in the panel, plus it would give you a nice transition instead of a sharp edge. 👍👍

Rear wheels, ...... what about the "super single" wide based semi tire? I know they make them. That might look good. ..... or drag slicks.

Excellent, that's what I call a hard body. I went a little bit of a different route than you. I used a little truck in Tonka yellow that appears to be about 1/16th in scale. Very cool build you did.

I recently got one of these Winnebagos from a friend of mine, im planning to use my ridgerock for the drivetrain, I figure it'll be pretty hilarious with rear steer and grab walking.

Why not a widebody Winnie? You could space the wheels however you like at that point. Just a thought though. Great work putting this one together.

Would it have been better to put a small bend in the frame, so that the part that holds the front suspension is closer together than the rest of the frame? It would have shortened the length, but would it make is easier to fit wheels so that they have enough space for them turn back and forth. Just wondering.

For the front wheel openings, I've had some success by making a cut in the rolled edge and folding the inner lip upward into the body. As a benefit, there is clearance without the rough edge to grab and scrape the wheel and tire. Hope that helps.

Awesome build, what are the link lengths, and the tierod length?

The uppers are around 16mm center to center. the long rod is 100mm center to center.

had a? your frame rails with rail braces are they same width as say scx 10 or 10.2

They are a little narrower, 60mm inside width
