Please say something about miss Bozman, a woman with great dignity. Miss Cottrell was her successor - not very popular with the sixth formers, as I recall.

Miss Lee: I only discovered her distinguished past years after leaving MHSG. She was pretty old when I was there in the late 50's, and famous for toddling round the school carrying everything in a shopping basket.

We were wearing ivy leaves for Founder's Day when I was at school from 1968-75. Great video!

So enjoyable & interesting ! I left school in 1956 . I'm still not used to the new school uniform colours . I'm glad the ivy leaf continues .

Thank you, this is a wonderful video which I found very moving. It makes me even more proud than usual to have gone to Manchester High. (I'm also old enough to remember the centenary celebrations!) All best wishes to everyone at the school facing the huge challenges of present times.
