This is awful. Cara looks nothing like Aelin should and whoever the actor for Chaol is is so unattractive. I've only read the first book so no spoilers please (the only thing close to a spoiler I've seen is that Celaena is Aelin) but they should not look like that. Even Dorian looks very off.

Just watched this after finally finishing Light Bringer. Absolutely love most of these (even though I'm old and don't know who half these people are - lol). Those of you saying how such a cast would be too big budget to film are forgetting how awesome these books are!!! All we have to do is have the actors, stunt doubles, producers, etc. read the books first! They'll be paying Pierce to be in the movie!!!

Overall, and with only a very few exceptions, a very good and well thought-out list for a VERY high budget production. A couple changes that I could see would be to have Alexander Ludwig as Darrow and, in my personal opinion, while Kate Beckinsale is a very capable actress, she is simply too pretty and it would take an incredible amount of makeup for her to become the battle hardened Holiday described in the books. Your choices for Kavax au Telemanos, Romulas au Raa, Fitchner, The Jackal and Harmony seem bloodydamn brilliant. Excellent job and thank you for putting faces to characters.

That woman who you suggested for the role of Aelin/Celaena is EXACTLY how I imagine her, except with white hair, rather than blonde, like the questionably innacurate cover art, which I couldn't get outta my head for some reason... Most of the rest are pretty damn close to how I imagine, just some with different hair styles.

That was the best damn cast8ng I've EVER seen. Blew my mind! Like 90% hell ya success rate a few I disagreed with but maybe I wasn't paying attention. Uncle Narol and Dancer I pictured almost the same like stalks older guys with beards. Idk. I forgot her name but for Aja not what I pictured cuz younger and more feline face but damn she'd be a good actor, everyone if they didn't fit in looks would make up in acting. The main golds in the front were bad ass, freakin Sevro, then lost my shit with Adrius/ Jacket so good. Roque was the best! But have to say no to mustang, she's way more beautiful and needs a better actress but damn mama this is so dead on. Jeff bridges Holy Shat but I pictured visually the hiy that played Prof. Dumbledoor's brother for Arcos. Read all the books a 2nd time to get ready for book 6. Can't wait.

I liked all of them except Rowen and Maron. I imagined him with dark black hair and a tan color. Not sure if that’s what he was supposed to be. And for Marion, I imagined a rounder face,not fat round but not pointy like the one you picked), really blonde hair and attitude looking. That’s just my imagination though. I hope they pick good ones if they ever do it.

Way to A list talent I'm characters that would have minimal screen time but also throughout most of the series which will never happen.as they won't commit to that much time that far in the future. You need 1 A lister for the main 5 characters and also a well know actor as well. One of Muatang, Darrow or Cassius needs to be a big name for credibility as they do for all series wanting to go more than 3 seasons.

Robert as tactus lol... after thinking I hate this more. Robert would not be a fit at all for pierce browns writing of that character. Frankly he's to small and not intimidating.

Omg….i finally figured out this was a fantasy dream cast fan cast type a video that was well done but I wish they did have $1 billion budget to afford some of these actors which would be pretty much perfect for roles chosen but let’s hurry up with it then.
