This is my dream cast for the Throne of Glass Series by Sarah J Maas. Let me know what you think about them but remember: these are only my personal preferences, you might choose completely differently! :) Let's just all agree that these books are awesome! .

I agree that Cara sort of fits the description of Aelin but I don't think she would be able to play her well because I saw her in suicide squad and I hated her acting no offense, but yeah they shouldn't cast her as Aelin she doesn't have the acting skills to play her. and I mean no offense to her I do like her just not her acting, and c'mon guys we need an amazingly amazing actress to play Aelin

You're right - Aelin needs to be perfect. But other than Cara's looks I thing it's her personality that would make her a great Aelin! She is so fierce, sassy and confident that I guess she wouldn't have to act a lot. That's why I chose her :) I agree with you that her acting in SS wasn't great but I guess she'd be better if she understood the character the way I think she would understand how Aelin ticks. Who would you like to play Aelin?

I hadn't thought of these before this video, but as people kept popping up, I kept thinking "I'd be okay with that." The only hard no would be Armie Hammer as Rowan. He's sexy, but he's not, "Ancient soul, holy hell I want to rip his clothes off" sexy. Rowan kinda has to be that. I'm not sure about Cara for Celaena, but I'd be okay with it if she acted well. I just don't think she's learned enough in her short acting career to pull off someone like Celaena.

Hey! Thanks for the praise! I know exactly what you mean with Armie not being the special Rowan kind of sexy. I'm not too happy about my choice either, but I couln't find anyone fitting so I just thought "What the hell" and chose Armie. I think Cara would be amazing though, mainly cause she wouldn't have to be great at acting for the part. I think her personality already resembles Celaena very much and she'd just "get" her. But if she messed her up, I'd be furious too! Thanks for commenting :)

King as Alan and Alexander as Cain are what I imagine them to be like when I read the book. I can not find anyone that fits my picture of Rowan though. Will Tudor is close but not really.

I never would have considered Richard Armitage....but YES that man can do a "bad boy" role perfectly....and his voice is amazing. I don't agree with the Rowan pick...I personally see Chris Hemsworth in that role. But, everything else looks great!

Yesss I love Cara as Aelin. She come pretty close to how I imagined her after reading the books! I'm actually pretty proud I thought of Gaia when it came to Manon cause I think she'd be perfect! Asterin is just awesome and when I saw the movie "Curse of the Shadow" I totally loved the idea of Danielle playing Asterin! Do you have any suggestions as to who might be suited better for Dorian and Rowan?

+AC_Snow In my head, Rowan was more muscular with well-defined facial features so maybe Tyler Hoechlin? And Dorian, I think would be more clean cut with a slighter frame so Brant Daugherty. And I adore Sam Clafin but I think he would be perfect as Sam Cortland. Douglas is just a bit too stocky for my liking but he's still great

I can't see Tyler Hoechlin as Rowan. Rowan wasn't just muscles and a well-defined face. His whole persona oozed ancient, badass warrior, and Tyler just doesn't have that quality. Maybe Tyler for Dorian, though.

I feel terrible for Kaltian Rompier.She burned herself with her shadow fire at the end of Queen Of Shadows.And Manon is like "Don't waste your tears on her." to Elide when she was crying for Kaltian."She knew what she was doing and it wasn't for your sake. And in Throne Of Glass Celaena or should I say Aelin was like studying Kaltian's narrow narrow waist,thinking how she could breathe in her corset.Page 73.Now "I'm like she's not that freaking thin!" Unlesss Aelin is fatter than her.

Yeah I also feel terrible for Kaltain. She sacrificed herself after having a miserable life. I never saw her being really happy. And even her death will not be remembered compared to Aelin's or Manon's great deeds. Sad sad fate she got indeed :(

I'm glad you liked almost the whole dream cast!! Rowan is a controversial choice but I really like Armie's height, strengh and royal looks. Your imagination is free though - is there anyone you'd prefer? There are no young and hot actors with white hair though, so I guess any actor would have to wear a wig or get his hair dyed, lol ^^

Agree with most of the roles, although Rowan is a hard NO. Cara Delevigne would definitely be the PERFECT Aelin tho. One suggestion: I think Charlize Theron would make an amazing Maeve. From the films I've seen, she makes a TERRIFYING villainess (Atomic Blonde; Snow White and the Huntsman; ... etc.)

A lot of these ideas are really great. Hayden is a person I wouldn't have thought up for Aedion, but I found him to be a really inspired choice! I also appreciate you for picking an actual person of color to play Nehemia; a lot of people aren't doing that. :(

In my opinion, Hayden Christensen wouldn't be a good choice as Aeidon. You would have to get someone with more cred to play the Wolf of the North. However, beyond that, your choices were great. Most of the character images I had in my head while reading matched perfectly with your choices.
