i did this and headlight still didnt work .. do you think its a fuse ?
@tylerhite9287 Жыл бұрын
I would recommend looking in the owners manual and having a look at the fuse. It could be a defective bulb/ ballast you bought, even a change of a damaged headlight connector or wiring harness but that is less likely.

That is the fill for your transmission oil. Make sure you keep that fluid changed. Follow your manual for fluids. I’ve always been fine using valvoline synchromesh, maxima motorcycle oil, and other motorcycle oils safe for a wet clutch.

@tylerhite92872 жыл бұрын
I’m not exactly sure which one you’re talking about, also don’t have the car anymore so I can’t refer to it. I could be wrong but I think Audi made another headlight assembly for some of these models where they had halogen bulbs and even no led run lights. Could be wrong though.

How often do you have to do the oil change
@tylerhite92872 жыл бұрын
The manual recommends about every 15 hours. This changes a lot depending on riding conditions of course. I change mine set up as a super moto about every 400 miles with maxima oil.

@tylerhite92872 жыл бұрын
@@terrillcollins3542 I would check to see if it’s catching on your fender or bumper possibly, especially if the vehicle went through some repairs in those areas at some point. If those bolts are undone and the plug is removed, that’s my best guess as to why it won’t come free

Quick question for you. Im looking to build a rig very similar to this one. I know you sold this rig. I know there are 3 differant 4wd systems for your jeep. Did you have any issues (binding, Stressing drive train ,etc) with your quadra drive 4wd system driving on the street with those big axles and tires? Thanks
@tylerhite92873 жыл бұрын
I definitely recommend not axle swapping to start. I believe I had quadra drive 2 and it seemed to do everything fine but loosing the ability to chose rear wheel drive only kind of stinks. There’s some strength issues partnered along with that as well. I would recommend swapping the transfer case to the stronger one available especially if you’re going bigger than 33’s or so. It’s been about 3 years since looking at it last but I want to say the transfer case you want is a 242b or something like that, I apologise because I can’t really remember the name. I think I commented a similar recommendation to an older comment on this vid.
