@TheAudioCzar4 күн бұрын
@@bobgulian1858 true, but that doesn't mean they can't be compared if you are looking at either one of them. The Colares is inspired by the 251 which is of course a tube mic. Which I believe Mojave markets the 300 as their version of a U67.

I don't see the point of comparing a UA Apollo card against two of the worst brands on the market and therefore no model, no model! deserves to be bought new whatever the price, even second-hand.Focusrite Scarlett Presonus all the models from these scam brands are crap. So much so that it's not useful to test them, you just have to look at what's in the box and there you learn a lot very quickly, and you know based on what you see or not that it can only be mediocre at the very least. Even 100 euros, I wouldn't buy any model from these pseudo brands of soulless scammers.Especially since you can find so much better second-hand and it's so easy, especially for the eternal idiots who come back every time and who of course will pay 600 or even 1000 for crap.Shit, which they will resell like everyone else very quickly for a handful of cherries (it's not by chance that they are swarming on second-hand sites). AND there is the magic phrase, to make the gullible ignorant swallow the pill, Like; "For 600!? At that price it's normal". And why do they take this kind of phrase seriously without thinking about it, without understanding that said like that, it doesn't make sense? Because they don't have the slightest idea of the real cost of manufacturing and above all, because they don't try to find out, It's like the box, they only look at it externally if it's pretty it's a criterion of choice for them, they still look at the options, but hardly more. In their heads, quality would only depend on converters and preamps, but without being aware or having the idea that good converters and good preamps, all managed by crappy electronics, will give a foregone conclusion and which will inevitably translate into a thousand and one ways.

Hey man, great video, I've got a question, do you know if you can control the mono information and stereo information separately? in order to create space for the vocal inside the beat, is there any way to affect mono info only, leaving stereo information unaffected?

The warm sounds dull compared to the c800 g. Like you said, it doesn't bring the vocals to life like the Sony c800g does. But it definitely sounds decent. Doesn't sound bad at all

Thanks for the demo, it's a little hard to hear what it's doing. Seems pretty gentle. I use Izotope Clarity and Baby Audio Smooth Operator, and would definitely love to see the comparison. The Waves seems to have a nice workflow, and I like the Learn function.

Thanks. I thought the c800g wouldn't have any harshness because it's so expensive.

every voice is different some voices have harshness in different frequencies, its not that the mic is particularly harsh but just that the human voice is imperfect.

I've been waiting for a plugin like this that has the look ahead option to use it more efficiently on side chaining. This also doesn't have it and I find it useless. Why another plugin that does the exactly same thing? We don't need that learning curve and for that there is RESO already.

Landr slapped the soul out of that mix . High end to brittle, low mids scooped out too much . Impacting her beautiful vocal and the acoustic guitar . Made the composition too wide. Bro, I think you would’ve produced a better and subtler EQ manually. As it was a beautiful mix beforehand. 🎤🔥💁🏾♂️🙂

Honestly, this is a steal at $40. It’s like a blend of Gullfoss and Soothe. I spent $200 on Gullfoss and $140 on Soothe2. I struggled to integrate Gullfoss into my workflow; it either felt like it wasn't doing anything or overprocessed my mixes. I rely on Soothe2 for almost everything, especially sidechaining and the master bus. It would be great if they added mid-side processing and oversampling because its pretty limiting without oversampling.
