There's Coefficient of DRAG(CD.)... ; Drag = (1/2)×CD.×{(p= Rho)×A×V^2} Rho(p) = (Localized Air Density) ; (kg/m^3) A = Cross-section Area of Control Volume ;(m^2) V = Velocity of Air (Flow) ; (m/sec) But there NEVER be "Coefficient of LIFT", no never.!?! Maybe b'cuz Drag are in-align of Air flow; but Lift is perpendicular to it...

Nice video, Aliya! Subscribed! I'm so glad you mentioned Newton's second law! When the air is flowing over the curved leading edge of a wing, it changes direction, which means there is a force acting on the air molecules. Think about the pressure distribution in a tornado. This causes the air to accelerate. When the velocity is increased, the pressure is reduced. This happens because of conservation of energy, which is covered by Bernoulli's Equation. Energy cannot disappear or appear out of the blue. There's nothing wrong with Bernoulli's Equation. It works perfectly well when you are flying upside-down. Just add a little more angle of attack. The problem occurs when Bernoulli's Equtation is combined with the equal transit time theory (hypothesis is a more correct word, as a theory can be proven by repeated demonstrations.) The wing profile of a hangglider appears to be flat at 5:13, but it is not. the leading edge is curved with the help of battens inserted into the sail. The lift to drag ratio of a hangglider is about 10:1, similar to a Cessna 172. And thanks to the low wing loading, it can utilize thermals and ridge lift efficiently. The world record for straight distance in a hangglider is 764 km. Newton is about conservation of momentum. Newton's third law of motion is the result of lift. If you want to explain lift to a layman in 10 seconds, then this is the way to do it. A wing produces a lot of downwash, so it is easy to understand. But Newton's thrid law does not only apply to the airflow under the wing. The entire airflow around the wing is deflected by the wing. Most of the lift is created by the top of the wing, until is stalls. Turbulence is uneven movement of a fluid; not vacuum. The lowest air pressure is measured along the curvature of leading edge where the air is accelerated. As the air is continuing along the upper surface of the wing, the air pressure increases.

to understand lift try to understand gravity, Gravity hates nothingness, thats why lighter gases goes up lesser density goes up. Thats the principle of buoyant force that has force equal to the volume of medium displace x its specific wt of fluid displaced, the wing is the same. Many do not understand that gravity is being tricked by the wing design since it creates a curve surface that has relatively faster wind and follows the curved downward due to coanda effect faster wind compared to its surrounding providing low pressure in the surrounding of wing with volume corresponding to the volume displace and for me thats the one that creates lift. Gravity therefore can be tricked. I have designed an air craft that can take advantage of this in order to trick gravity its like a flying saucer that has fan bell mouth inlet and outlet a baffle plate on top a curved body for coanda effect with hole at the middle to allow portion of air to enter another portion to take the curve surface Coanda effect and if you visualize it it is creating a baloon and Jelly fish like virtual pressure disturbance and gravity will be tricked as if it is a big hot air balloon a very efficient way to produce VTOL air craft.

The statement at @5:59 is the opposite of what is true. Completely wrong! When the flow has lower velocities, this is viscous flow. Low Reynolds number = Viscous flow. When flow has high velocity, like the example of Mach 1+ speeds, then you can begin to assume inviscid flow. High Reynolds number = inviscid flow.

Aaliyaji, Hoq does a pilot jydge that plane is ready for a lift off above ground? What indications he sees on panel? It is observed that he lifts off front wheel first and not rear wheel where as in helicopter , whole body lift. What is the difference in lift off of aur plane and helicopter?in short, Are both lift off same?

It's important to use the term theory correctly. A hypothesis is an idea that is allowed to be either true or false ,and remain a hypothesis none the less. A theory ,however is considered True, and not allowed to be true or false.

No. Both hypothesis are not correct. One states that "lift causes lift ". The other states that " a downward force causes lift". One is correct and the other is not.

Newton's laws can explain what causes the upward force of lift on a wing. However does not explain how that force is transmitted. Bernoullis principle is useful in explaining how a force transmits to a wing, however doesnt explain what causes the force. The question of "what causes a lift force " is a separate question from the question of "how that force transmits to a wing." These are distinctly different questions, that require different answers. Lift is a reaction force that you have do something first to get. It's not an action force. Before you can have an upward force, you must create a downward one. There is no other way. The airfoil shape does not cause lift, rather it causes efficient use of force. A low pressure above a wing doesn't cause lift, rather it is lift caused by downward accelerated air. You don't "Induce a bernoulli effect and get lift from it". Once the reaction of lift and bernoulli effect has occurred, an action has already occurred to cause it. An upward force on a wing can only be caused by a downward one. You don't "make a pressure differential and get lift from it", as lift is a synonym for pressure differential. Lift is a reaction force caused by the action of downward accelerated air, period. And how those forces transmit is another question, that bernoullis principle will help you understand. In the false hypothesis, bernoullis principle is abused. A correct principle used wrongly.

If Reynolds numbers be the same model to full, as said at time 4:00, then explain NACA Note L57F12 as they address model concerns when predicting spin recoveries. nice: if an aircraft in a turn can continuously maintain a 5G load, what should be done for that same aircraft to achieve the same lift (which compensated for five times the force of weight) in a straight line climb, i.e. that while climbing it has 5 times more lift than the force of weight

The equal transit time hypothesis is circular reasoning. It says that a pressure differential causes lift. However, 'pressure differential' is a synonym for 'lift'. Lift does not cause lift. You can only get lift if you can deflect air. And you can't deflect air without getting lift. One is the action, the other, the reaction.

The shape of the airfoil does not cause lift. Rather, the shape determines the efficiency in the work of deflecting air. You can defect air inefficiently by having your flaps on while cruise, or by having them off while landing. However the shape is not the cause of the force, the deflection is.

The cause of lift is the acceleration of air downward. The is no other cause. You can not accelerate air downward without getting an upward force, nor can you have an upward force without accellerating air downward. A pressure differential does NOT cause lift. The bernulli effect does NOT cause lift. Rather, a pressure differential IS lift, caused by the deflection of air. The equal transit time hypothesis simply confuses the cause with the effect. The bernulli effect can help you understand HOW a force is transmitted to a wing surface, but does NOT explain the cause of the force.
