I didn’t know there was basketball in Sims 3 is it on the Sims Store?

I always disliked that idiotic giggle they make during any task in sims 4 and their general "gOoFy" behaviour, it just doesn't work for me, goes well too far when it stops being funny and its just weird and disturbing. Also tossing and throwing stuff about when they're skilled in cooking, like I get it, they're pro now, but I don't think whoever made the animations ever seen anyone cook, yeah just a game and all but small details like that make a huge difference and make a game really memorable.

Sims 4 feels like a bit more on the instant gratification side, also less time more money from a corporation side rushing animations and leaving out the life details.

They could just take all the good things from the sims 2 (hood mechanics, story, intelligent superior game mechanics), the sims 3 (the open world, better items, some minor other things), and the sims 4 (superior command mechanics, quality of life, some bugs), and make the best game ever.

I'm playing Sims 4 since today. After many years Sims abstinence it's quiet fun. Graphics look much better than in 1 and 2. But fortunately the gameplay didn't changed. It's the most hated Sims for some reasons I guess, but still a real Sims game from the franchise. I don't like the south Korean try, it's completely overdone

Recently just got the Sims 2 and let me tell you it is so much BETTER than the sims 4!! I love the little cutscenes and the different, more in depth interactions you can have with the other npc's, it really is great.

I play the sims 2, and it always takes up more time, but all the details make it feel more life-like. Personally, I think both games are good. Sims 2 pays more attention to the function details, lole cooking and etc But Sims 4 has more details in making the sim.

sims 2 always felt a lot more interactive with the world. something as simple as using the cupboards and drawers to take out tools. even if you dont notice it with your eyes, you still hear it happen sims 2 plays like an actual game. everything the sims do will be poor work until they reach level 5 in a skill, which is treated as mediocre level. a sim playing an instrument in sims 2 will play poorly until reaching level 5, in sims 3 and 4 they will do just fine at level 3. theres no "im just gonna smash all the notes on this instrument to see how silly it can sound cause i will never be good at it anyway" starting point. they only kept a few quirks in some skills the same way, like chopping their finger by accident when cooking. which sims 2 will still always do better and do least annoyingly, cause its how the baseline of all skills work. this is what children and teens are meant to even out, or instead to present an adult who has never done or been guided on this skill in their lives, always had it taken care of for them, and how it now impacts their performance it has been the default on the sequels to make it a sandbox. but, its easier to mod in or use cheats to create the sandbox you want, than it is to mod in more difficulty. you cant add in more difficulty if its not present to begin with, ie. adding the comfort need, but you can make the comfort need stop decreasing you get more time for your sims to chase wishes and build relations as the furniture and skills ease their needs, thats the main difficulty curve of sims 2. in sims 3 and 4 the needs are easy from the start, because they didnt want to hinder players to do whatever they wanted. thats not going to be fun in the long run for those that only have a few novel ideas to chase, but otherwise want to play an actual game, in the way you expect a board game or card game to play out. not playing around with tarot cards and relying on imagination, which is how the sequels felt to me. at least sims 3 had an open world for the sims to burn their energy on

@Littlevampiregirl1002 ай бұрын
the cooking skill was increased high enough to prevent the accidental finger chopping animation, but it also decreases the time spent on each animation. the spaghetti recipe is one of those that has so many steps that some of the animations are already cut short, but still has to play the start and finish animation even if the mid animation reaches 0 secs and ya, the laughing is too much... wished they would have expanded on real life reactions based on their mood. a bit of subtle giggling while browsing on the pc, while eyes fixate and study the screen, or they lean back and rest their head in their hand while smiling, whatever they are looking at in their good mood makes them react more lighthearted. like sure, you can be more prone to laugh if in a good mood, but a trigger is still important... otherwise they can just shortly smile like they thought of something funny. would make a lot more sense than laughing at thin air. likewise they could have made the sad or frustrated reactions less melodramatic, making it function like a relatable opposite

What's unfair in these videos is the type of sims people create in TS3. Always weird and ugly (excessive makeup and so on). No, sims are not "simply ugly" in TS3: you have to work with the sliders to create a decent looking sim, but you totally can do it. And no CC required.
@66ordolupsjediklon142 ай бұрын
Agreed.. Even though the Sims 3 has a less attractive art style and less pretty textures than the Sims 4, that doesn't mean that we can't create a decent-looking in the Sims 3 without CC, although it required more efforts than the Sims 4..
