Why does the Sims 4 Sim always have to stop to have a giggle? What are we giggling about my love? Are we giggling because we chopped our own fingers off? And why do we stop to recalibrate every 5 seconds? You should know relatively what you're doing, you shouldn't need to completely stop to have a think 😂

Yes, always some random laugh or something. I guess they get easily bored and need to chat or laugh with themselves. Thanks!

Agree the moment she laughs (Sims 4) randomly while cooking or eating, I always get bothered 😕 since it’s distracting or stupid. Especially when eating she doesn’t look like she’s eating she’s like acting/improvising (since there’s no chew sound) while in the 2ND game you can hear her eat and enjoy the food.
It’s like she’s making a salad 🥗 instead of spaghetti since there’s no pasta or cheese like the 2nd game which is odd.

TS4 sim behaves like a person from the nuthouse or like a kid with ADHD: aggressive slicing (why raising the knife so high?), then stops and giggles like crazy out nowhere, takes out a bottle and tries to do a trick, fails, 0.5 sec of regret, proceeds slicing shards like nothing happened, then she puts the pot on one burner, picks it up, thinks, moves the pot to the other burner, holds a spoon like a child when stirring, seats to eat, eats, stops, looks at food, forgets about food and looks around, flirts with no one, "oh, right, I was eating", chews, then stops, "should sniff it reeaaal good", chews and smiles like crazy (again), proceeds to eat with thoughts "mmm spaghet", finishes the food, looks around smiling (again for no reason), "yep, I'm done", walks away to the couch

I feel that in their attempt to give them more "free will" they came up with goofy things like this LOL. Thanks for watching, I really appreciate it!

@@I_aint_nyla would need some knowledge on how to cook individual ingredients for sure, but... following the sims 4 logic you are cooking slices of bell pepper, tomato, onion, and... lettuce... with no pasta, or sauce. only thing i dont know is what is in that diaper looking bag on the sims 2 cutting board. maybe thats the meatballs?

Sims 1: Started it all Sims 2: Improved on Sims 1 in almost every way, introducing 3D, lots of small details, lore, and the best family gameplay yet Sims 3: Lost some small details from Sims 2 but compensated with the Open Worlds, Story Progression, Activities and the best customisation by far Sims 4: Downgrade from Sims 3 in every way except general CAS and build buy mode, the loss of the color wheel did make customisation worse than in Sims 3. While it might have a pretty art style, the actual models themselves are so low poly and plastic looking compared to 2 and 3's models.

i feel like sims 4 is better to build in, but sims 3 was the best overall. if only they would do a decent blend of 1-4 for 5. something that wasn't put behind expansion pay walls and make it the baseline. i love the sims and have played everything since the sims 1, but 4 has been so disappointing

The soup in the pop spinning is nice i suppose, but the drawer in sims 2 is also nice. Im a slow eater so the sims in 4 pausing to do something doesn tbithrr me that much really.
@Pronoun_Sims10 ай бұрын
Great points, I wish they could made the food swirl in the pot on Sims 2, but the details of taking things out the drawers and actually getting the spaghetti ingredients right make up for it. Thanks!

Why on earth TS4 ingredients look so low poly? Isn't the graphics supposed to be better in a "new game"? xD

I always disliked that idiotic giggle they make during any task in sims 4 and their general "gOoFy" behaviour, it just doesn't work for me, goes well too far when it stops being funny and its just weird and disturbing. Also tossing and throwing stuff about when they're skilled in cooking, like I get it, they're pro now, but I don't think whoever made the animations ever seen anyone cook, yeah just a game and all but small details like that make a huge difference and make a game really memorable.
