A pretty weak demonstration. You didn't actually get a fire going, but just left the secondary tinder next to the cotton ball. Also, do you thing you could have the manufacturer actually glue the handles on properly? They've come off nearly all of my ferro rods that I use for my students and have to be drilled and re-glued.

Thank you Tom can you do this video with just the tools sold in the set? I don’t have a knife like that and I’m trying to show my kids with just the set you sell.

I've been shaving for 11 years and 6 months. I finally gave up out of hunger and ate the shavings. . . . . . all 2506lbs of them. It feels like I ate a bag of hedgehogs. It burns, damn, does it burn. Running out of Tums soon. I can hear the tigers closing in. . . . send help.

I went through US Army SERE school in 2001, Camp Mackall NC using a Coghlan's magnesium Firestarter. It never failed me. I'd put it up with the rest of them and it would probably come out on top,

First of all, I cannot remove the striker from the striker block and there doesn't appear tobe any tape holding the two together; it seems tobe glued or soldered in some fashion?

I truly wish that people (especially manufacturers) would stop referring to Ferrocerium as flint.

Mine is made in Taiwan, but I did get it to work. Goghlans two pack that I bought at Kroger's. I had to use a knife handle to hammer it in to the can at first, but it worked after that. Thank you!!

I notice you have an Opinel Lock-Knife. Number 5 I'm guessing. That is a top quality all around camping knife without going full Rambo. The last one I had, I showed my fried, I told him " be careful, it's sharp ". His response was " No it isn't it's OOOOOOOOOOOW " He sliced his thumb open. Dumb ass.

Here is how to open it. After playing around with the pouch we figured out that you have to turn the knobs fully until you hear and feel a click!!!! Then it will open. When you close it, also turn until you feel and hear the click!!! Found instructions are on the inside of the card once opened! They really should re-imagine the instruction placement!
