Hi just a quick question how does the baja orange paint hold up does it mark easily? I have sapphire black one and u look at the paint and it marks it.....just ordered myself a new one in baja orange u see so thought I'd ask u .....cracking bike u got

It's a Matte color, and they are hard to take care of. It will scratch easier due to not having a clear coat.

Hi i put the same full exhaust system. However i noticed a sound in the front like some gas leakage. They say it could be due to the attachment with springs. Do u noticed something like this?

Nice! Thanks for sharing. Did you get any ECU lights popping up? Stock O2 sensors have a place to go? Just plug and play? For sure a tune would ge good but ither than that any issues or tips? It's a full exhaust so headers too? Did you replace header gaskets with new ones? Thanks

It's a full plug and play exhaust, no Ecu lights if installed correctly. I did not install new header gaskets because the bike was so new.

@reaper_s1k thanks for getting back to me and answering my 50 questions. Lol Very cook you reused header gaskets. I would've thought since they are usually copper crush gaskets that you'd need to use 3 fresh ones. Think DNK would have a good canned tune for this set up? I really don't care too much about extra power. Just sound and eliminating the weight of the stock crap under the bike and getting rid of the stuffy cat Great stuff and thank you for sharing info and videos!

This a good video visual of the lift. I've had one since 2021 when I bought it for my Ducati Hypermotard. I routinely dismantle it and it neatly stores in a corner of my garage which already narrow, so not much floor space. For those who are interested in one but are not thoroughly comfortable with having to walk around the bike while steadying it with one hand; what I do is I keep the bike on a rear pit stand, completely connect the parts on both side then I remove the pit stand after raising the bike a foot or so: it works like a charm.

I am planning to get these as they are the only one that offers a full system header.. am planning to out the double can silencer cause i just like a longer exhaust rather than 'shorty'.. my question would be, do you need to do any ECU tuning once you change the whole exhuast? do you still depend on servo eliminator to by-pass it?

If you are doing a full header exhaust I would recommend getting a tune.

Did you ever run this as just a slip on? What do you think of it compared to the stock headers sound wise? Better sound? Power? Louder?

No, I went straight from stock to the full exhaust. It sounds better now. Much louder, even with the DB killer.

I think the stock pipe looks better as it sweeps upward. Wonder if a baffle ectomy could be done on it? This pipe ruins the look imo.

The pipe has a baffle that you can remove. The weight savings is about 15lbs from stock. This looks way better than stock, and the ease of cleaning your back wheel and removing it for maintenance are easier.

It will be tomorrow. The shop had scheduling conflicts due to bike shows and had to reschedule twice.

Putting a motorcycle on a dyno should never void a warranty.

No, it actually doesn't void the warranty. This was taken to a Triumph dealership and also dynoed by the owner of the dealership. Certain modifications can void your warranty only if it was determined to be the cause of the damage.

There was no need for a Google search or the back and forth. The dealership the bike was purchased from and dynoed the bike said it would not void the warranty. The S1k I have also along with many other bikes I've owned did not void the warranty. All were taken to a certified dealership. Again legally they can not deny a warranty unless it was determined the cause of the damage. I would advise you to research the Magnuson-Moss act.

This is the first video in the wild ive seen of the full header setup. Ive been trying to find info on the header so if their anyway you could help me out it would be super appreciated. How bid is outer diameter of the header? Essentiall right where the header system ends underneith the rear foot peg im trying to figure out how big the pipe is? 70mm?

The header fits inside the slip-on and is about 90mm it has the db killer in the slip-on currently and is very loud without it. I will try and get some better video of the exhaust.

@reaper_s1k perfect! Exactly what I was wondering. My goal is to try and find maybe a SC project universal can and weld on tabs to use spings to hold it on as im just not sure I like the look of the zard racing can. I can weld just about anything up but if I can find a can with a 90mm entrance I can just weld up a hanging bracket. Either way I'll be keeping an eye on your channel because NO one has any videos of these headers just slip on. Thanks for the info and putting a video up!
