nice video, was crowded ten years ago! Here my constructive critique in case anyone is looking for them. the streetcar voice shouldn't say "please hold on this vehicle starts and stops unexpectedly" as that tells citizens public transit isn't safe. Instead it should say something cautionary without being self negative, like: "hold on, stopping" "hold on, going" and "hold on in case of unexpected stops" would be better announcements I imagine. Also, it shouldn't say "please" before every announcement as it sounds disingenuous, and unnecessary for an automated voice. They need to keep it straight to the point yet as pleasant sounding as possible. I like the female voice. The streetcar bell warning pedestrians that it's on the way needs to be modernized with a modern streetcar sound for a modern city (this isn't New Orleans Garden District). Also, if they could make them not so tall they wouldn't scare traffic in cars, and a trim look might be more inviting to the public to encourage more ridership.

Marta is still impressive even though it's does not travel over the Atlanta Metropolitan Area/Region. One Marta will go/exspans to all metro counties in the ATLANTA METROPOLITAN AREA/Region so help Marta God.

Wow! We had this same type of GM Old look and the small version in Cuba! They arrived in Cuba in the 1950's and were already in use in USA. The same number of windows including one small window before and after the rear door! Excellent air suspension, they were automatic and super comfortable! Applause for GM designers!!! I remember one in particular with the number 1442 that went from Havana to Guanabo! ❤️❤️❤️👋👋👋👋👋

Drove some of those old GM TDH-40 buses in Denver in the mid 1970's They had the inline transverse Detroit Diesels and the two speed Allison automatic transmissions with hydraulic and direct drive.

This is stupid and dangerous. What if they damaged the electronics for the train, what if it derailed? A single bolt can lift a train from the tracks. What were they thinking.

Back in the 1960s, the Old Look buses were being retired by our local bus company in Worcester, MA. So what did they do with them? They used them for school buses! So we rode to school on these 1953 Old Look GM buses that seemed to be on their last legs. I knew they were 1953s because the state registration would be posted at the front of the bus. But worse were the old 1946 Macks that we sometimes got. Going up a hill, the driver would smash hit foot to the floor, the engine would make an awful roar, and we'd creep up the hill at the blistering speed of 5 miles per hour. Those Macks were real clunkers, the GMs weren't as bad... By the 1960s the bus company had a fleet of shiny new New Look GM buses...they were the coolest thing compared to the ones we rode to school

I remember seeing this back when it happened on the news during my summer 3d printing class black in 2015. I found out through some hollow-minded imbecile who appeared to be several years older than a 10 year old me, in my class who found this video to be funny and insisted on doing the exact same thing like how was shown in the video. I really hope he didn’t join one of the many groups of conquesters who do nothing but cause trouble in the subway, inconveniencing everyone and making the system as a whole unsafer to ride.

So is there a driving set up for the conductor on each end of the train? And they walk from one end to the other to perform the turnaround?
