2020 will be remembered in a bad way. The eerie manner of everything during lockdown made for a very strange environment. Hell they didn't even need to clean the stations they were so unused. Good video though, and thanks for uploading what would be historical footage 20 years from now showing how eerie things were. I'm surprised they allowed you to ride since you weren't essential (I don't think). Wonderful coverage though!

It’s Unfortunate that MARTA is now a 42 year old system the trains and track infrastructure is old now therefore track replacement are in progress starting with switch and interlocking are the critical parts of the system while MARTA is getting ready to bring in new trains into the Atlanta in a few years...

Unfortunately Politics is this State is warranted when it comes to expanding mass transit in the state of Georgia hopefully now the ATL Transit link that was created to replace Grta Will governed Support to expanding Marta up 75 north into Cobb County and Gwinnett County some day it took almost 40 years for Clayton County got onboard also the continuous support of voters for mass transit in order to push those who sit on old money 💰 don’t like change they want it as is by refusing pay the 1 cent and a half sales tax they rather drive several miles to the nearest station park for free Reaping the benefits those that live in the City of Atlanta,Dekalb,Clayton and Fulton Counties Can’t find a parking space because of those in Cobb and Gwinnett county parking there I think Marta should charge for parking daily and offer free parking permits for those who pay the sales tax....

You'd think they want a rail to the stadium, the mall and one of the premiere business in all of Georgia. But they keep voting it down

Making the Atlanta Region the 6th largest Metropolitan Statistical Area in the United States. Do to the rapid growth and diversification of Atlant's suburbs where opponents to improve the Atlanta region's transportation infrastructure were once dominant. The mother of all mistakes: the failure to extend MARTA in the suburbs. It wasn't just a time blunter-- it was the single worst mistake in a whole cluster bomb of missteps, errors, power play, and just plain meanness that created the region's transportation infrastructure. Diversity will drive the region's transit plan. The There will be a significant demographic shift in the coming Decade in the Metro Atlanta Region 🙌. The explosive growth in the surrounding suburbs will shift in favor of joining and expanding MARTA into Cobb and Gwinnett 🙌 in the coming year continues to add residents in the coming year. Traffic Congestion isn't going away any time soon . On March 20, 2019, Gwinnett citizens voted 🗳 against joining Metro Atlanta Transit Authority. Around 92,000 voters in the special election. Of the Gwinnett county voters, 54 of them voted no on the referendum. The referendum would have allowed the county to create a 1% sale tax for the next 30 years to fund public transit expansion and join into the MARTA system. It was reported that Gwinnett County Officials that could have created 5.4 billion in funding. Go Gwinnett, a group advocating for the referendum. It was reported that a group's official express expaning public transit is something the county must deal 👌 with as more people move to Gwinnett county. Based on the last census, there are 920,260 Gwinnett residents. And more than half of the residents are registered voters. Gwinnett county commissioners approved a contract with MARTA in 2019. Now it needs approval from county residents. This official states the issue of Gwinnett county joining MARTA must be revisited and having a referendum on a ballot during a general election could lead to a more favorable turnout.
