Are you hiding the video ABOVE the text? This is wrong. If you follow the instructions from 01:57 to 03:00 it will work. From the video: "Usually text effects are placed above the video. But for this effect, the fastest way to do it is to put the text below the video. This avoids the need to export and import the text." After adding the blend effect to the VIDEO, it will work. Firstly, thanks for watching. Secondly, I'm not a 'Boy' I'm a man of over 50. Regarding music and sound effects. I would use music in a 'General' video, but NOT a tutorial. As for constant sound effects, i'll leave that for the 'boys', whose target audiance are other boys with 'short attention spans'. Older mature people don't like/need constant sound effects and flashy edits in a tutorial. They just want the tutorial. Take my advice or leave it, it's up to you.
