The very first rock concert l seen was Foghat,Rare Earth, and Ace who had the hit How Long l paid five dollars for that concert it was in the mid seventies Foghat blew me away they were so good that l saw them again two of my favorite bands back in the seventies were hands down Foghat and Blue Oyster Cult which l seen also in concert Foghat had some of the best slide guitar l ever heard beside the song Slow Ride and before Foghat there were in Savoy Brown l love the album Looking in

Listening in 2024 from the UK. I was 70 this year and love this version of black magic woman but also the one by the originaline up of Fleetwood Mac. Never had the opportunity to see Santana in the flesh but had the experience of a tribute act that were entertaining. We can't all get to see the real thing sadly. 😊

I’m 77 and still listening to Santana. Saw them live at Baltimore civic center in 8/1970. When the concert began they locked the doors and everyone lit up. They closed with Soul Sacrifice and played it for nearly a half whil3 everyone danced in the aisles. It was a great time to be young and have the greatest music as a background to your life!
