It looks like you can save out each individual layer as an SVG from within Krita (docs.krita.org/en/reference_manual/main_menu/layers_menu.html).

This does not happen for me when I wireframe the edge loops, it always makes flat rectangular lines with no depth that's hollow inside with other rectangular face type lines on the other side of how thick my object was, and as I follow tutorials as they are, honestly idk but it sure is frustrating and as I'm trying to work on something and getting no where.
@JSAbbott
@JSAbbott 12 күн бұрын
You may need to change the thickness. The size of the thickness depends on the object itself. Also, when you add the solidify modifier, make sure it is at the top of the modifier stack. You may have some holes left behind. You can easily fix this by adding faces in edit mode after you apply the modifiers.

Welcome. I don't use Windows 11 so I'm not sure what would be causing the issues. I also can't find any way of contacting them. If you still run into problems, you might want to try out InstaMAT (which you can get for free). They have a Discord that is active and the developers are always around to answer questions.

Hi there Jen, nice tutorial. How you figured out how to rotate the tank treads, there's a lot of confusion how to do this. The tank treads and wheels can get pretty messed up.
@JSAbbott
@JSAbbott 28 күн бұрын
The way I did it in the tutorial (using an empty) is the easiest way to do it. It can also depend on how the tank was modelled. There might be some adjustments that need to be made before animating it.

@@JSAbbott I know it's not you, Jen, it's KZbin and this has happened twice now when I've mentioned that "indie" gaming platform. The small dev team they have were looking for a game character animator to finish off their medic/revive animations, so I tell an animator whom I know about the job and my comment was deleted on his channel too. I never even included any links in my posts. I see that you're looking for a new direction to focus on and so I mentioned the gaming platform, Operation: Harsh Doorstop, to you too because you have the skills to add to that excellent project. The small, independent dev team, led by Bluedrake42, who has a huge KZbin following, want to take back computer gaming from the 'Triple A' studios and give the power back to the gaming community, Jen, literally making our own games and they cover just about every genre you can imagine.

Here's something about game model creation I learned just recently, Jen, from a bloke here on KZbin called Matty McTech. He has a KZbin video entitled, "Create 3D Characters From Pictures", where you can upload a picture of something, such as that teacup for instance, to the website he highlighted and it turns it into a 3D model that you can use in computer games.
