UDPATE: Not Goodbye - Just Some Changes (Upcoming Channel Changes)

I feel the need to be open and honest with you all.
As I stated in a previous video about the upcoming channel changes, I’ve been feeling on the edge of burnout or something akin to it for over a year at this point.
Even though I’ve been learning new things and trying to stretch my knowledge and skills in Blender and related software, I continue to feel stagnant and not anywhere close to where I should be and I do realize this is my own fault.
My true passions revolve around film making and VFX - so I will be transitioning to those kinds of tutorials in addition to my traditional Blender and related tutorials.

That sounds very interesting! And you definitely have to follow your interests. Maybe people who show up will discover they'd like to try something new, as well. (Also, although I'm not trying to be your Mom, look after your health. Sometimes that lost feeling can also be caused by loss of energy.) I'll be tuning in to watch whatever you care to demonstrate.

Try Daz 3D and see if you can find some fun with that. I've seen some guys put together characters inside of Daz 3D that look real, and then transfer those characters to Blender and Unreal Engine and create cinematics with them. You'll have fun with it.

I've tried Daz 3D and absolutely hated it. I have access to Character Creator and I know how to modify Metahumans so that's what I'll probably do.

No, I didn't see anything about your comment being deleted. I haven't deleted any comments in months. In general, I would rarely ever delete a comment (and only if it were abusive and/or over-the-line creepy). If a link or certain words are used, I hold it for moderation but I don't even see your comment in the moderation hold review.

@@JSAbbott I know it's not you, Jen, it's KZbin and this has happened twice now when I've mentioned that "indie" gaming platform. The small dev team they have were looking for a game character animator to finish off their medic/revive animations, so I tell an animator whom I know about the job and my comment was deleted on his channel too. I never even included any links in my posts. I see that you're looking for a new direction to focus on and so I mentioned the gaming platform, Operation: Harsh Doorstop, to you too because you have the skills to add to that excellent project. The small, independent dev team, led by Bluedrake42, who has a huge KZbin following, want to take back computer gaming from the 'Triple A' studios and give the power back to the gaming community, Jen, literally making our own games and they cover just about every genre you can imagine.

Not really upset - just worried that I'll lose the community I've taken years to build. Like I said, the Blender and related videos won't be going away. I'm just adding different kinds of tutorials.
