How does one set the rails while keeping this post plumb in wet concrete? This is absolutely ridiculous. You can do essentially 2 post a day while waiting for the concrete to dry and avoiding any deviations. What a retarded instruction video

Where is your video for installing a 6' tall Savannah privacy fence on a concrete patio? I purchased ten (10) of your 5" x 5" x 54" aluminum gate post insert - concrete mount and struggled with the installation. How are you suppose to tighten down the .5" x 4.25" galvanized anchor when the aluminum gate post insert is against the side of the house? How are you suppose to level these post mounts when concrete patios are poured at a slope of 1/4" per foot in order for the water to run off away from the house and foundation?

Their error cost us money. Doesn't matter how good their products are if they can't get the orders shipped correctly. After hiring a professional contractor to install the Neptune fence, we come to find Weatherable's shipped us the incorrect rails for the gate assembly. Our contractor did what he could during his scheduled workday. We had to report the error to customer service, wait for the correct railing to arrive, re-schedule the contractor and pay and additional fee for his services. I don't fault the contractor because his installations are impeccable and he's a busy professional. I do think Weatherables should assume responsibility for this and compensate us since it's their error.

We did this late fall. Ground was dry. No rain. We dug the depth of 24 to 28 inches. We put a few inches of pea gravel in the hole. We set the 4x4 ground touch lumber, leveling and wedging securely in place. We found these plastic collars at Home Depot to put on the lumber, it sits several inches below ground level and few inches above ground level. Followed the bag directions, but used two bags for three holes. Allowed the foam to come up, but realized it would be over kill for us to use a single bag per post, so quickly moved to second post as well and used the bag up in that hole. When we had everything set for two more posts, we opened another bag and added same amount to the empty hole and the rest in the partial filled hole. Here we are months later and very happy with the product. It is a product, by its natural, should have no reason for it to break down. I don't understand why it would not work for folks if used properly. I am happy with it. The mess concrete creates for me, the weight of it, handling it to get in the hole, I am sold on the foam product; worth the extra money to me. I can see that folks that do fence work all the time would be fine sticking with what they have always done.

most useless shit I have used. it is NOT an alternative to concrete. at first it swelled up nice and tight but when returned the next day it had shrank and left a space between post leaving the fence rattling and shaking in the wind.

Where did the extraneous wording ''go ahead" come from? It's meaningless. Just proceed directly to the verb: ''Attach posts." ''Screw in rail." etc. You don't have to ''go head" and do anything.

Color coded posts, which are which , can you include this coding in your video description, how do you know which end is the concrete end?
@weatherables88514 жыл бұрын
Hi Brian- The end of the post that goes in the ground will have a small square hole for concrete to flow into. Line posts will have a blue sticker, corner posts a green sticker, end posts a red sticker, blank posts a black sticker and 3-way posts a yellow sticker. Visit www.weatherables.com/support/how-to-buy-fencing.html for more information.
