You can get alcohol, smokes and groceries all in the same supermarket. The smokes and alcohol are sectioned off but its all in the same building. You can also just get Ibuprofen whenever you want, its out on the shelves and you don't have to ask for it. Not sure which country this guy visited but it's not Australia.

In Australia you find sunscreen almost every where e.g. Sun Safety for Beaches, Parks & Public Spaces and the kiosks All supermarkets, chemists, service stations, and local shops. The cost of sunscreen is a reasonable priced. Ibuprofen isn't a sunscreen it is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug . You can buy it over the counter.
@roslynjonsson23837 күн бұрын
Ibuprofen is over the counter here in WA. You can buy it off the shelf at Woolies, Coles, Aldi, IGA or any chemist. Having our alcohol in a separate shop, helps stops teens stealing it as well as, it makes it easier for anyone trying to reduce or give up drinking

The song is subtitled "a walk in the light green". "It's a song about two mates of mine who went to Vietnam, came back Agent Orange victims. The title "A Walk in the Light Green" stems from the fact that when the Australian soldiers in Vietnam were given their missions, they looked at the areas where they'd be working in on the map and if it was dark green on the map, then there was cause for some consolation, because dark green meant thick jungle, lots of cover, and there were no mines. If they were working in areas that were light green on the map, that meant light jungle, not much cover, and heaps of mines. This is a song for Mick and Frankie. It's called "A walk in the light green". John Schumann (Redgum). A direct quote from a live version of this song I have.

A leg spinner, bowls the ball with spin, directed at the leg area, but it spins back onto the wickets (bowled out) or the lower legs (LBW, leg before wicket) - You must get bat on ball before it hits your legs, or that's LBW. Mate, it's a cricket bat, not a racquet (racquets are for tennis and squash). The "things" at the back are the wickets. RIP Shane (Warnie) Warn I like imagining you sitting at a table with Phil Hughes, Andrew (Roy) Symonds, Rod Marsh and Ritchie Benaud, all having a beer and watching the tests from above. RIP always boys ❤❤❤❤❤

The wildlife is simply stunning, especially now with spring. To give you an idea my encounters with nature in the Southwest of WA over the last couple of months. A 130 pilot whales beached themselves near Quindalup on beautiful Geographe bay. Locals swung in to action and saved around 115 whales. Within just a couple of hours those saved were back out at sea. Two large bull Western grey kangoroo's had jumped a fence and entered the caravan park. Our kids were at risk with these two roos bouncing around the park in full flight. Part of their flight was caused by a couple of young boys hot on their tail chasing them our of the park. I have around 20 species of birds, parrots and water birds surrounding my van. At the moment most are caring for their young. Ducklings, native geese chicks and baby water birds are everywhere, like in their hundreds. It magical to watch how the adult birds both guide and protect them. From 30 minutes before sunrise the chorus of bird calls start. The magpies are first with their beautiful morning song, calling out to family across the fields. Just as the sun is about to crest over the horizon the kookaburras start. Their laughter echo's through the crisp sunny morning. Then as the sun slowly rises the finches and honey eaters start their chorus. Quite a racket but beautiful all the same. About 10 minutes after the sun rises the water birds start and what strange sounds they make. Their call sounds like an echo rippling through the caravan park. Then last but not least those bloody crows and that horrible cat growl sound they make. They are soon drowned out by the squarks of seagulls, a nice background noise that lasts until sunset. Last Wednesday I was sitting enjoying the calm still evening in a little bay close to Cape Naturaliste, the ocean was like silk. Around 10 humpback whales just a 100 meters from shore cruises through the bay. 200 meters further out 2 whales started breaching. They were very active with big leaps and big slashes, they are such graceful creatures. At any time there is an abundance of dolphins often seen surrounding schools of bait fish, thrashing their tails in the water keeping the school tightly knit as each dolphin takes turns darting through the school feeding, amazing to watch. You don't swim with dolphins during feeding but otherwise they are quite safe to swim with. I like deep diving with several encounters with sharks but to watch from above out of the water you can watch their authority as fish move quickly to hide themselves. Haven't seen any snakes yet but as the sun warms up they will be around. Just leave them alone and allow them to escape by simply standing still. Spiders you know where they lurk. Just kill those within your vaccinity and manage the environments they like, it's not hard. There are dangers but you learn how to recognize and manage the risks. As to the rest of the world what can you do. We are heavily censored so there is no scope to speak out so why bother. Instead we plot. Try as they may we will never be crushed. Hidden in that famous Aussie declaration " she'll be right mate" is a contempt of authority that the vast majority share. Don't think for a moment we won't turn on the State, and by gee aren't these betraying scum getting close for an all out blue. But be certain should we be driven to that point there will be no mercy, for any of them.
