There is a guide on the hmf website. You have to tell them the model of your bike and they will give you a chart of all the different modes and what number they should be on.

Dealers are wanting way more (12,000) money than MSRP at 10,300.00 so I won't buy one. The dealers are making money at MSRP so they can stick it . One dealer in Michigan would change over my two tires unless I bought tires from them. I got the tires with the used bike. Another dealer wanted 120.00 to change two tires , I got them changed for 20.00 at a tire shop

Good eye. That’s at Brushy Mountain motorsports Park in Taylorsville, North Carolina. That’s my favorite park to ride. The track is n’t quite as goodof shape now as it was in that video but overall that place is a blast if you ever can make it out.

I live in the Middle East. Kuwait to be exact, and we have many sand dune/ desert biome areas. so I am looking for something that’s both soft and stable for those sudden washboard situations.
@FunGoingFastАй бұрын
The Raptor suspension is much more forgiving. The 450 is very firm and is more for jumping and really aggressive riding.

These things cost less now with our insane inflation than they did back in the early 200's when the ATV hobby was killed off by high prices and side by sides taking over by rich dude bros who are too fat and lazy to ride a quad.
@FunGoingFastАй бұрын
I definitely agree that side by side riders arent taking the best care of the trails. I just looked and a 2001 Raptor 660r had an MSRP of $5,000 which is $8,912 adjusted for inflation according to Google. Since the MSRP of a 2024 Raptor is $10,899 ao we are still looking at over $2k before the mark ups.

Never owned a raptor but I have a million hours logged on a blaster, banshee, and a Yfz. With race experience on the banshee and Yfz…. The Yfz chassis is incredible. Many times I was prepared to eat the dirt and the Yfz straightened out and kept me on the tires. In those same situations the banshee would have dumped me…. Can’t speak for the raptor but with how much I liked the Yfz it would be hard for me to choose anything over the 450

i have a raptor 350 now for 3 years now paid 1200€ for it road legal with licence plate and registation (i live in france) anyway i got a warrior 350 for 500€ last year the seller didnt have a picture and i saw a full exhaust system by CRD i was that is worth money. its was claped but since i had a raptor 350 i know what to fix. i fixed the one way start clutch (but i did a very deap clean befor it was dirty AF like black dirty on the blue plastics) so yeah got one way starter clutch of aliexpress, it started but carb leaking (i was knock off carb) so i didnt bother fixing it. got a amazon carb + bilet mount for 60€ that fixed it. painted the rims black cause they were beat up put some used tyres on it. shitty battery and sold it for 1150€ cause it was to clapped to fix... plastics melted... all A arms had play, chain was crusty. was not worth it. butt i did like the warrior look recently seen it for sale for 1700€ lol still as claped. i do like the raptor 350 but its a tractor. but i like that i have had fast quad but i like the slower one cause u can be balls to the wall without actually going to fast and not get tired.. i got a banshe and yeah nah thatt thing hurts my arms real quick but its fun but different fun but i would still recommande anyone to buy a ltz400 and not a rapttor 350 they are the same price, the raptor aint worth 3000-4000€ road legal. the ltz400 also not but its way better for that price

I bought a 2024 yfz450r absolutely love it other than the clutch witch is known to blow on them causing pretty detrimental damage to your machine other then that upgrade your clutch basket and your good to go there’s some others things you gotta do but mostly it’s preference, one hell of a machine tho

How you like this compared to yfz 450r?
@FunGoingFastАй бұрын
Check out my channel and I did a few different comparisons w the yfz. The yfz is much more fun to rev out and kick around. But for the trails I ride I decided it was a bit more work to ride since its higher strung, firmer suspension l, erc. The Raptor is much less work to ride, and is more comfortable over long distances. So I actually ended up selling the YFZ. Its a great atv, just not as good a fit for my riding style.

The last year of the warrior is 04. Then yumaha updated it to the Raptor 350..its sporty looking they updated the the power to i believe 27 hp from the warriors 19 hp. I have a mint 1990 warrior and 05 Raptor 350 my son is 12 and its perfect for him. Plus lots of room to grow so he can ride it for a long time.
@keithmorrison9372Ай бұрын
My friend has the yzf450 and i have the Raptor 700. We ride the dunes. If you're a big guy the Raptor is more comfortable. Both bikes are great..like i said we basically just ride the dunes. I prefer the power and comfort of the Raptor

2006 they did the oil mod and 2004 2005 have different motors they are not even 450s
@FunGoingFastАй бұрын
They did the major engine overhaul in 2006, but the oil modded wasn't added until 2007. Along with tweaking the clutch, updating the brakes, and changing the handlebars. I think I said the 80 changes occurred in 2007, which wasn't correct. Thanks for catching.

They look fantastic, they are fast as hell, and sound mean. That being said, I decided to go with a ‘23 Kingquad 750. I will admit the only reason why I considered getting a Scrambler was to be able to beat my pals in a drag but then I came to my senses and realized that’s a stupid reason to get an atv. I LOVE my Kingquad so far. The fit and finish is incredible and I have had zero problems with it so far and I’ve owned it for 5 months and ride it very hard.

I recently bought a 2023 and it looks like the previous owner has three different maps one looks like it’s a little more mild I see it under the mapping but how do I engage it on the bike I can definitely tell whatever setting it’s on is way more then what I want I just can’t figure out how to switch the map and get it onto the bike
@FunGoingFastАй бұрын
This is a good tutorial from Yamaha. Make sure Bluetooth is on with your phone and its connected to the bike. Its pretty easy to change the maps as long as that happens. Or make your own. kzbin.info/www/bejne/g6bdi6WOj62BncUsi=YoE5XzJseJFfHsx8
