Fort Myers and Sarasota Florida have bad draining system, that's why I wouldn't move back there, cities like Hallandale Beach Florida and Hollywood is much better.❤

Hi, thanks for the amazing information! Could you or some body tell me please if it is necessary to bring 2 pairs of waterproof pants? Also, a tripod to take pictures with my mobile? I'm going next month to spend Christmas in Antarctica! Thanks!

Thats some very honest and helpful points of view. I was surprised you didn't include the art work on the side. I can see how that might have worked on a normally painted van but with that heavy grade stuff , it looks pretty awful. There's some great tips in there. I would have guessed you used apple. Style over substance. That seems to sum up your build. Cheers again.

Why don’t you use the shower often? Seems like a must but I’ve never lived in a van so just curious
@DrinkteatravelАй бұрын
It had to do a lot with filing up water tank during the off season and winter months and then finding suitable place to dump water. Because we had a gym membership we found ourselves having a shower after the gym.

That is for the most part a composting toilet. It's pretty much just like a Cuddy composting toilet and looks to be about the same size.
@DrinkteatravelАй бұрын
Not quite since you don’t leave it in there or add anything to help with composting. It instead is more like a human doggy poo bag. It separates liquids and adds #2 to a bag which you toss.
@khrfx4715Ай бұрын
@@Drinkteatravel My apologies. I listened to the description again and I see the difference. You said you put something in to absorb the moisture as opposed to putting a composting material in and mixing it each time you go. Your reply here says you don’t “leave it in there”, but in the video you say you empty it at the end of the week. That’s a bit confusing. In any case, here’s my question: If they made a composting toilet the same size as the Separett, which one do you think you would prefer?
@Drinkteatravel29 күн бұрын
Yeah I hear ya, sorry for confusion. We mostly cleaned it after use cause we didn’t use it regularly, we could often find public toilets we could use. But if I had to choose, if they were same size (which was a huge factor in upgrading from chemical to this one) I might still stick with this one. From what I’ve read you can’t really compost it in a reasonable time frame, so you are just mixing it up with organic material which you would hope could be transferred to proper compost.
@khrfx471529 күн бұрын
@@Drinkteatravel Thanks so much for the reply/answer. I've never looked at the composting toilets for their “composting” attribute, but for smell factor and convenience. Thanks for showing us another toilet option. No need to reply. I know you get a lot of messages and only have so much time; time better spent enjoying the beautiful scenes out your back door.

Excellent design, have you considered a pop-up flat-screen tv behind the dresser, it would work with the bed up or down and once it popped up, a swivel could be placed at the end of the bed or wherever.

Because this is a rainforest mosquitos can be bad, so definitely bring bud spray. But inside the lodge was pretty bug free.
