Thanks for the comment. I listen to this every so often; it lifts my spirits. Cool that you nailed the source. I thought the sisters did the best cover :)

It was like this in comprehensive schools too back in the 70's. Condescending, sarcastic, supercilious attitude from most (but not all) of the teachers.

Good and true observation Ian. Thank you for your insight; you get the larger issue. Thank God things have and are changing.

This pastor hit the nail right bang on the head with a hammer by what he said about the prosperity gospel ,all these year's later and false prophets, prosperity false gospel, false pretrib rapture doctrine of devils and men, false once saved always saved doctrines of demons.
You are so very funny! Never thought of that female perspective before(of course) :)

Amen. Solid teaching again from Pastor Thompson. And I agree totally with your exhortation above Kevin. I've shared a little on as well on the requirements of Obedience if we are to enter into the fullness of the promises of God for His Elect. - kzbin.info/www/bejne/gX6UaJWOnqaXfdU

Was blessed to have been a member of the Mt. Zion Fellowship brethren for more than 20 years. Was there til the end, when Pastor Thompson retired at the age of 93. Brother Thompson said "goodbye for now" to his dear wife of 70 years, just this morning. Audrey passed from this life, and I believe will hear those words I pray we long to hear, "Well done good & faithful servant, enter into the joy of your Lord." Praying peace & comfort for Bon & all the family, as Audrey will surely be missed. The Thompsons ministered Truth for many years, planting and watering seeds, and God brought much increase. May the messages that come forth from their ministry continue to bear fruit for the Kingdom, until that Day when our Lord is revealed. Amen.

I don’t have a fun btu I have a walking stick with a sharp metal point I’ll shank you with. It’s also a walking stick with a thing to conceal the metal point to protect it and to avoid unwanted injury.

This is my favorite Southern Gospel song of all time. The first time I heard it on XM Sirius Radio, I was on my way to church. I almost went off the road, crying. It touches me to the dept of my soul. Doyle Lawson is awesome. He is filled with the Holy Spirit whenever he sings. Thank you sharing.

I was looking for sound doctrine ,it's pretty hard. I was wondering about the Nicolaitans too. It had led me to Christmas , Easter , Halloween and apostasy , giving up the things of the world isn't going to be easy .. Santa clause ? Nope it's satanic too, I just had a granddaughter God will help me , I don't want to lie to her this satanic madness of generations of lies has to stop and it seems I've been appointed to break the chain

Thanks to everyone who has commented on this upload; i'm on the phone with my mom and she has heard this song from somewhere and i told her, 'yes i put this one on youtube!' To me this tune is more 'Kingdom-like' than most of the traditional type gospel songs; it portrays a living, breathing Jesus that can manifest in our personality today!

Thanks so much for this teaching. I started my christian discipleship sitting under Dr. T ministry in the early 80's through mail order books and tapes of his and after several years lost track of him. I really enjoy his solidness in the Word. The Holy Spirit is indeed leading His surrendered, lowly and meek sheep, those who hear His voice, to follow on to know their Faithful and True Shepherd. It is those who truly die daily, looking only to Calvary, beseeching the Father of the spirits of righteous men made perfect to search and purify their hearts as they lay them on God's altar of sacrifice, praying God's will, not theirs be done. Do Your Heart Work, Spirit of the One True and Living God, prepare Your Bride to carry the sweet smelling savor of Your good ointments, the very Essence of Your Marrow, You who are Perfect Love.
