The N.I.V uses the manuscript's from Alexandria Egypt and the Nicolaitans, Nicolaitans were one of the heretical sects that plagued the churches at Ephesus and at Pergamum, according to Revelation 2:6,15. Irenaeus identifies them as followers of Nicolas Gnosticism is a heresy such as Tertullian , Origen also provide information regarding Gnostic beliefs. There is also historical evidence of a Gnostic sect called Nitolaitans a century or so later. Look up Westcoot and Hort.

Nico=conqure/rule over. laitians=people The work and doctrine of the Nicolatians is the CLERGY and this guy is one who rules over God's people. We were never intended to sit under a professional clergy!

True Christian's come from Antioch. Look at (Act 11:26) And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

yea I agree.. there is a big difference in the versions.. I for one contend that KJV is the truth and is the only real Word.. No errors, is proof all others are simply watered down versions..

(Act 18:25) Apollos born at Alexandrian went to Ephesus teaching of baptism of John in order to be saved. Baptism is good but it's not what save's you it is the Death Of The Son Of God not the baptism of John. So baptism is for after you receive The Son Of God your Lord, your God, Savor. Before that baptism doesn't save you.
