Sounds good except at 1:57, to my ear it sounds like it should be a Cm instead of the C.

I appreciate this. I always wanted to nail this song especially it's only two parts to learn and it's a simple groove

I start with with the root of open e bc I'm still building left hand . Much more comfortable ans far as finger positioning for now as I get hands stronger to hit the notes clear💪

Larry Graham....the greatest bass player of all time in my opinion. The list goes on with Aaron Mills, Mark Adams, Verdine White, Marvin Isley, James Jamerson, Bootsy Collins, Marcus Miller, Cedric Martin, Luis Johson, Bernard Edwards, James Alexander. I probably missed a few, but this list is off the top of my head. Man....I miss the 70s music!!

Please keep the Taste Of Honey stuff coming, both bass and guitar parts. Check out Janice Marie Johnson’s 2003 Musician’s Institute concert with her of course on vocals and bass. Plus David Cochran on guitar. P. S. I have TAB for the bass parts of Boogie Oogie Oogie, but I can’t find anything on Hazel Payne’s guitar solos. Please Help and I love your channel which I just discovered.

Nice. I think you might find if you listen closely to the original, the first bit is actually a semi tone difference.... G-G#, G-G#, G-G# This is tight though!
