You are so right my Bro. What matters is what you do with it !

I buy US made guitars because I want to support our American workers... And the American made guitars do hold their value... I've never lost any money on a resale of my American guitars... However you do make a great point about the guitar player is much more important than the guitar.

Amen Morrisman! Everybody thinks they need that Custom shop Fender or $5000 Gibson. Buy yourself a Squier or a Epi (or similar product). Use your saved money to buy an amp and a couple pedals. Good to see you again. Bless you

Thank u brother..great info....a guitar will play no better than ones dedications to the art of playing music and practice.

totally agree with you. im just a hobbyist and enjoy your content. However i bought a gibson sg 61 10 years ago. she is all i got and all i want. when u find the one no other guitar will ever matter. she has saved me thousands of dollars and time wasting searching for another guitar. amps thats whole other story.

This was very informative. Thank you; and no we dont understand that. Thankfully right now I play an Ibanez Gio that I spent 80 bucks on. Threw some D'addario strings on it, a nice pedal board, and I'm chillin. When I get a bass I will get a Squire or something similar.

the irony of all this is this guys guitars sound cheap, and it don't help that he always play wrong chords... not the best candidate for advice 🤣🤣

My guitar tech calls the syndrome of those higher price purchases cork sniffers.😂

Im tell you another one is golf clubs, you can get a used set for 100-200 or brand new name brand for 2000. I played junk all my life and was single digit handicap. Its in the swing. A groove swing and you can almost golf with a broom.

Why do people think they push pointless things like the vanilla fragfrance of nitro finishes on Gibson and Fenders so much. It's because something as stupid and trivial as that is a major selling point, as they know damn well you ain't getting anything like the difference in quality compared to Squier or Epiphone. Not even QA seems to be that much better these days either. There may be a bit more clarity in the pickups, but as you say in a band setting and with EQing that just vanishes.

I have to admit I bought a fender aerodyne bass when I got an accident settlement. It was so beautiful and it still is. But you right! Many other basses sound exactly the same for much less money. If I had it to do over I’d have purchased a Squier.

C sharp barre chord is what I use to hear if guitar is good. I agree spend more for acoustic craftsmanship, materials. A Martin is worth a grand. My main player is a Squire from Japan. Bought a "Grote" 335. 160 dollars delivered. Awesome guitar. Retired cuz I bought property, no one is making more real estate. I drive a 25 year old car that I paid 2K for.
