Thank you, I did it in about an hour and a half because I was nervous I would break the plastic. Saved me a bunch of money, thanks again.

Worked on mine in between rain squalls. I used weed wacker lines, and it seemed to work. Will give it another try and dump some water in the drains when things dry up. Thanks for the video.

I watched this video and after that I decided to let a BMW workshop do the job. I talk with the mechanic and they did from underneath. How they manage to do that - i dont understand. Think it looks impossible. :-) But they have done it before...
@mrOnlinePolice20 күн бұрын
Yeah. I looked at it from underneath and you just have to do it blindfolded pretty much. I could not. It helps if you have a lift. But you're still blindfolded. What did they charge you for such a job?

I would most definitely change spark plugs if you didn't change them in the past 80k+ miles. Then i would work with my ignition coils.

@mrOnlinePolice i tried the ignition coil trick u did and all seem to be working, the spark plugs have been changed like a year or 2 ago so ik its not that im leading to the injectors

I might have taken a screw out to swing it out the way. It seems like i still have it there during the last seconds of the video. I did not record every single step as it was raining, and i did it inside an HOA community, so my goal was to get it done asap.

I have a love hate relationship with BMW!🤷🏼♂️. Why
@mrOnlinePolice2 ай бұрын
I guess it's cheaper to make them non serviceable. Remember, consumer products are meant to be throw away type of goods. Even in the manufacturing settings, parts are simply replaceable. As an industrial mechanic, I see it everyday.
