Hi Jeff. Signing in for the first time. Theme : God s Spirit and His guiding us in all things dark. UK Christian here who a) loves prime metal and music in general b) has my own KZbin channel but no longer listens to some of my formative year bands. Eg s ? Ac/DC, Slayer,Sabbath. I m yr age, been to many many gigs over the years etc . I love crunchy music still. HOWEVER, when I got saved in 2013 the Holy spirit convicted me that these bands in my collection HAD TO GO. So they did. It was a struggle but Jeff please be led more by the Holy Spirit and cast out some of the Nostalgic but dark bands you cite here and probably many more in your collection. You seem a really decent guy but don t be deceived by the power of dark bands. Let them go out of yr life. You will be released from their hold and you will be blessed by the Lord by this on your journey with Him. I can testify to this in my journey as a big rock/ metal fan but also devout Christian. Cheers from Planet Mack uk

Great haul. I'm with you. I don't mind a minor ding here and there if the record is mint. I just want the music! I love Helloween and have been lucky enough to see them live 3 times. I'm new to the VC and posted my first video about 14 days ago. It was a response to the Noble Records Summer Tag, seemed like a good way to jump in. I like your channel and have now watched a few of your videos. I just subbed to your channel and look forward to your next post. Cheers.

Hi Jeff!!! another cool score and taking advantage from Amazon's price drops.... those four records seems to be in pretty good condition, just minor damage and for what's more import the records are Ok!!! That Helloween with Deris was a cool return to form after the last two not so good album with Kiske singing. I really like that Extreme album, don't care about "More ...." anymore, but the rest of the songs are very good. cheers and be well

Jeff, how do you search these deals. Vinal clearance ?
@JeffMcCormack77710 сағат бұрын
I use a site called camelcamelcamel dot com. It connects to my amazon account and monitors my wish lists. It then sends me emails whenever someone on my list drops below the price threshold I have set for each item. So, I can go in and say, if this album drops below $20, alert me.
@soldier7778Күн бұрын
I found that Extreme album on CD for $1.99 a few months ago at a Salvation Army thrift store in very good to near mint condition. It's been said that Gary Cherone may be a Christian but it's not confirmed.

Pretty much the same as you although i'm not great with music i'm ok In addition to Kiss I had Queen News of the world did you like Rock Radio in the 70's or did you have sounds of the 70's? on the radio? Hit Parader and Circus magazine for the Crue , The album Kill em all is what I had on my Walkman wedneseday Metallica was heavy for that time? My favorite Kiss album is either the self titled or Destroyer.
@JeffMcCormack77710 сағат бұрын
In the 70's it was mainly the radio for me until the late 70s. It is funny, looking back at some of what we thought were the heaviest bands in the day (Metallica, Slayer, etc.) and listening now and thinking how "light" they are in comparison to modern heavy bands. ha ha
@cristianosorio25172 күн бұрын
Hi Jeff!!! I agree with you about when we were young, none of us were so negative with bands changing or adding new thing to their sound, unfortunately growing up and in cases becaming "music collectors" kind of change that attitude towards bands. I can relate with you discovering Motley and Metallica also VH as very important to me in those tender years. cheers and be well

Your correct never heard Mortal. There will never be a day that a computer will choose what album I want to walk with? I pick my cd's. even if I had the same amount that you have which I don't but if I did I would pick what album I want to put on!!! Accept so far the best of the first 3? Riot , Good band not such a great album Ac/dc - Rock or Bust? Alternative worship, East West , Thor which do you like better Mortal or Ac/dc- Rock or bust? Forrunner or Ac/dc? Accept - Russian or Ac/dc - Rock or bust?
