She wants to win the national championship. It's in one of her interviews with Sue Bird...

And now in the WNBA - the league where, Diana Taurasi taunted, CC22 would encounter 'grown women' and 'reality' - she is the 1st rookie and only 4th Player in WNBA history to record 30pts, 5reb, 3stl, and 3 blk in a game, and the fastest ever rookie in WNBA history to 100+ points and 50+ assists, doing that in 8 games, and the fastest ever rookie to 100+ points, 50+ assists, and 50+ rebounds. Her team really sucks at the moment, so she isn't seeing the victories she had in Iowa, but it's clear that there is no-one that is her equal at playing basketball.

I think it would have been wise to mention Paige's desire to spend another year playing with Geno. They have an incredible heartfelt bond which is much more important to Paige and her development than the money.

Caitlin is surely great but Johnson of South Carolina did a good job of defending her for three quarters holding her to 12 points during that time and getting a couple of clean steals. And Nika Muhi of UConn held her to 21 points. Lots of talent in women’s college basketball but Caitlin is the best. And Iowa did a great job getting to the finals in two consecutive years. She should do well in the WNBA. Maybe very, very well.

its sad how great she is and these great programs she's destroying in March Madness never even looked at her. What outsiders don't know is Iowa has great girls basketball.
@jeffrey-me9by8 ай бұрын
if Iowa loses to South Carolina in the championship game today is Caitlyn Clark the best player in basketbell ever mens or womens? Or is she the player that could not single handedly lead her team to a victory even thogh everybody in the world is calling her the best basketball player to ever and will ever play basketball in mens or womens basketbell some people even put her better than Lebron James I mean come on a skinny college woman at 5 11 compared to Lebron James and what he has done to say she is better than him and Jordan? This is the biggest hype of a normal player ever it is out of control. Hopefully someday she will fade off into nowhere land when she gets to WNBA.
@usx062406 ай бұрын
There is no player than can do that. It's a team game. She is overhyped the way some people describe her, but Iowa doesn't sniff sweet 16 without her.

Change my mind: if she was Lisa Leslie's height, she could play in the NBA. Not saying she'd be GREAT in the NBA, but she could make a squad. Unfortunately she's too small, but her shooting AND passing are better than some NBA players. Luka Doncic said shes a better shooter than he is.
@usx062406 ай бұрын
Nonsense. She wouldn't play, let alone star on any top tier boys high school team. This does not take away from her being a phenomenal women's player.

People need to quit comparing her to Pistol Pete Maravich. There wasn't a 3 point line when he played. All his shots were for 2 points. AND! Her defense is almost nonexistent. She's not a complete player.

Nice, informative video. Thanks. I have only seen a little of her playing. Everybody has a poor game. sometimes, Everybody. She is "that good", no doubt about it. If Clark has great games, I believe Iowa making it to, and winning the championship will be predicated on the play of the big players, on both teams. Iowa has some talented big players, and they are fun to watch. We will see, I guess.

Gag. Media hyped gunner. The only reason she's getting attention is because she chasing the scoring record. Anyone could score 32 a game if they launched it 27x, including 14 from 3!!! That's not talent, it's arithmetic. It's a joke. She's barely a top 10 player

She gave thanks to her team, friends and family members and she forget to thank the one who made her what she is today, and that the Almighty God the Father. Remember brothers and sisters your greatness is the work of God the Father through Christ Jesus, and ignoring Him is the worst thing you will ever do, your downfall will be faster than your rise to fame. Before you proclaim your greatness to the world, praise and give thank first God who made it happen for you, then thank who ever you want to thank. In this way God will be at your favor.

If women start getting more interest and fan support, then good for them. As for me, I don't give a damn and I don't watch and frankly I am sick of ESPN cramming it down my throat. If just women attended games, then the WNBA would do great and would be able to pay their players more.. It never happens and I don't see it happening in the future. Just being realistic. And if they play with a smaller ball then don't expect me to be impressed.
