I am stuck in 2012 technology with a Radeon RX 580 2048SP 8G and is as close as you can get it still does most gaming at mid range settings if I don't push it and CyberPunk 2077 at ultra settings but has no ray trace it's an old GPU but was gonna be to help kill time to build an actual computer. I regret buying an all RGB computer because of it not using software instead I am stuck using a remote for the lights. I miss older computers before gaming computers existed we gamed on Acers at a pretty good paste and was considered good enough for gaming why everyone is obsessed with making everything realistic is beyond me I remember when games were about having fun not realism that is why everything is expensive because of the sake of realism. I can't afford an ultra gaming computer because corporate greed believes price hiking will make money when it doesn't I miss older technology when all we wanted to do was make it simple not realistic or minimalist dumb ideas maybe one day everyone will wake up from the illusion and go back or make everything affordable who knows prices are hell right now this hit me up with so much nostalgia it's not even funny it just sickens me how fast I am aging already 32 and feel like my life is being speed rushed might as well do something to kill time.

I'm not sure if I am the only one, but nostalgia always seem to make me have a 'jump out of my skin' feeling or your 'heart skips a beat' feeling, then you got to change what you are doing or you will get bad anxiety.

I love how Agent Carter's casting team was like: "We need to hire some English men. Where do we find good actors? I know - Hollyoaks" (for context, Hollyoaks is a British soap which is, often, very much like an American soap but more aimed towards teens and young adults, without the constant dramatic music and it's just full of model types, mostly, with shallow plots, until they randomly pull out serious stuff and do it really well... and then, it goes back to teen magazine crap 😂)

I was a little kid in 80s, but most of us would be too cringed out to talk about ourselves as "80s kids"... instead we were just "kids who grew up in the 80s".

I love your work! The 90s and 2000s computer room mixes in particular are incredibly well made time portals and I keep coming back to those as background playlists. Really excited for this one and glad to see that you've picked up the 90s/00s theme again.

The windows 95 start up sound hits me so hard. I was 5 years old, and my parents were divorced. My dad would pick me up on the weekends and I'd stay over. He was a big computer guy. I'll never forget going over on the weekends and hearing Win95 boot up right before I started playing MechWarrior. I was in awe the whole time. It was like entering a different dimension. There was a sense of mystery and adventure everywhere.

I wish movies would pair with music like this again. It truly enhances the emotional connection to the story. Absolutely incredible. It's a shame modern films often miss this magic.

Oh man i wish i was born in the 80's, so i could experience 90's childhood of no phones, no internet but fun with friends, hangovers, slumbers, getting bored etc. It seems like for alot of people main world sits as the internet these days, nobody is like irl social anymore, i look through the window at the outside world and i see no one, especially my age. How do you connect without the internet on the streets without feeling anxty and seeming like you're bonkers in head or some shit. I hate being Gen Z, my childhood was just games and phone addiction. And Gen alpha live in ipads watching Elsa getting pregnant, like wtf smh. 90's media, especially movies, feels like it's all just some fever dream, it seems so serene and seems like problems never were on the existential level, were people more sure about their lifes back then? I'm really curious to know that. 90's started being my obsession recently, by listening to this soundtrack i feel like something in my throat and my eyes starts to water, i've seen alot of movies that i watched when i was younger like, whole the adventures of winnie the pooh or that one movie with christopher robin and pooh sitting on a tree in a beautiful sunset (this moment is like making me cry every time i love it), ducktales, goof troops/goofy movies, talespin, recess, arthur, hey arnold, darkwing duck, the maxx, goonies, twin peaks, life with louie, dude like i crave for more, even like some rom coms are just so vibey, 80/90's media are the only media that makes me like actually happy and happy sad. In general there is this sense of wonder and purpose i cannot find these days. Feels like progress of technology is growing so rapidly fast but the opposite is happening to the humanity, the emotions and connections and health, i hate it here so bad.
