I think it’s the bottom of a bottle Vintage 1900s Embossed Ace Of Spades Medicine Bottle. Looked up under glass bottle marked ACE with spade

In it's current state, sure. But it's a piece of history. Sure it's no civil war bullet but it has a story. Anytime we uncover a new type of bottle, we want to uncover that story and share it with others. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.

That’s a nice looking bed! Why do you put the logs and sticks in the bottom first?

They act as a filler to save soil, they hold moisture and as they break down they add nutrients back into the soil. Traditionally you would have straw, leaf litter and various layers but I just had a dead tree I used.

Marigolds are a good way to attract the bad bugs away from your veggies in the garden. This in turn brings in the predatory insects which also help manage them. While watering today, I noticed just that hiding near the bottom of this one. Wind is blowing pretty good so makes it a bit more difficult to see.

National Distillers opened in 1924 as the result of a merger. It primarily was a whiskey distiller Old Taylor and Old Grand Dad were a couple brands. It was bought by Jim Beam in 1987 the Old Taylor line sold to Sazerac in 2006.
