@@brad9772 I’ve been wanting to for awhile! And every time I do, project surface where it’s been placed on hiatus. When I would visit it my impression would be better then it was in my previous time recording so I keep scrapping it. After I get my “every DBZ voice I can do” parts out, I want to just bite the bullet and get the fandub out there.

I love that you have a clear appreciation for the early 2000s era of DBZ. You constantly use the awesome metal tracks from the movies. DBZ is what got a lot of people into that genre of music.

@@thedubbub316 The early 2000s era is definitely my favorite era. It's also where I think the voice acting was at its absolute best. Since DBZ Kai aired, I feel like a lot of the characters just don't sound like they used to anymore. Vegeta and Piccolo just sound nothing like I expect them too. Then again I can't blame Chris Sabbath, cuz when you spend your entire career screaming your lungs out, eventually you're going to lose your voice.

@@Luke21-xk7uh I agree. The 2000’s era of DBZ was my favorite as well, simply because I’m probably bias and that’s where I began my journey as a fan. I truly enjoy the way the characters sounded by in the original Z dubs of the old games and even the remastered dub of the orange sets. That was always the sound of DBZ that I think of when the franchise is mentioned to me.

@@Luke21-xk7uh Thanks! Goku's voice is definitely a tough one to master, especially since it's in that energetic, powerful vocal range. Ray Romano's voice, being in a similar register, can be a bit of a hang-up when trying to get Goku's tone just right. Keep practicing though, I'm sure you'll get closer to nailing it!

@@Luke21-xk7uh I’d like to. Sad thing is, is that oftentimes when I read off lines that are already official I get accused of stealing that audio. So, I try my best to record new lines. Which, can prolong some of my videos due to scripts and editing.

0:42 "Now it's you're..turn..!" i loved the delivery of that line. I interpreted it as Goku never wanting to willingfully inflict pain & suffering in a cruel way against anyone-even his opponents but after witnessing what Frieza just did to Krillin a part of him wants Frieza to feel what all of the others felt when he tortured and toyed with Goku's friends and Namekians before ending them.
