TheDubBub: DBZ Kakarot DLC Fandub!

So I don’t think it’s any surprise that I’ve been really getting into the most recent DLC of Dragon Ball Z Kakarot!! I’ve been drawing teen Goku for the past couple weeks now, and wanted to try my hand at one of the cutscenes in the game itself! This was such a fun play and I had a great sense of nostalgia going through this part of Goku’s journey!! Only felt right to dub it in my own way!! I think the most challenging thing about this was that I had to approach Goku differently and make him sound lighter. So that meant avoiding deep roars and trying to go for my youthful yells!! Enjoy, Super Saiyans!!

Those screams are incredible, I can't stress enough how much they are like the original Funimation dub oh Dragon Ball Z in the late 90s and early 2000s, you're good at replicating that. If I come up with ideas on how the best improve vocal performance, I have always got you covered Tristan.

DBZ: Kakarot is so underrated, i never played the game myself but i love the open world of Dragon Ball plus i love your OG DB voice of Goku when Sean first voice act on Dragon Ball

Thank you!! I was really trying to raise my pitch up. So I had to try and approach things differently and less like how I typically would for, say, Cell Saga Goku! Considering that I had to go higher for his natural voice, doing yells that made me raise even higher was a good test of figuring out where I needed to take my voice!
