@@assasinfromheaven92 thanks 😆 So here's what I can tell you about Amzu. The reason why you're probably having issues finding build revolving around it as the commander is most likely due to its rarity. It only available in the Clue bkxset and even then, you had to get lucky with a pack that included one in it. I go 1 box of this just to see what was in it and I didn't get a single golgari pack, so no Amzu for me. With that said, I'm gonna tell you how I would build it on a budget by pointing you in tge direction of a build that I made using syr konrad, the Grim. Th basic premise revolves around moving creatures from your graveyard to either tour hand or play which is basically the premise behind amzu, albeit in a mono black shell. There are a few green cards that focus on insect that I would include like vex and crawling infestation. I'll reply to this comment with a link to the Syr Konrad deck and you can see what I'm talking about.

Mazza gives auras nice resiliency.

My Uril build was an aura based build, but it was made before Mazzy was, so I'll look at the card for an eventual upgrade when I get to it.

@Tekillyah gotcha. Iv never been a big fan of tge diamonds but I do put them in budget builds. The medallions got reprinted and finally saw huge price drops so I went amd bought 4 of each for the cheapest I've ever seen them recently.

i had mana echoes and the god of forge laying around also ordered shared animosity which is absolutely berserk in it

@@duk2112 this is true if somehow it's in your hand but the likelihood is quite small in most scenarios. On the off chance someone cyclonic rifled with boh in play, thn great, but th chances are slim.

@ synergizing with your commander is the easiest thing to pull off. It’s an easy Draw 2 cards just like Wall of Omens or Wall of Blossoms with Arcades on the field, but Orator flies as well

@@duk2112 I forgot hat orator say if you Reveal or control, not just reveal. So yes, arcades will trigger orator if it's in play.

@@-Angix I'm not sure I understand what you're asking. Yurikos ability only pertains to yuriko and nor other cards. Satoru on the other hand does affect other cards in your hand. Yuriko is basically a weird card because of its unique ability that sorta make it a volition type card without using buffs but using unblockable creatures to sneak it into play for commander damage.

I run a budget Yuriko deck too and I think I know what you're looking for. You can absolutely run completely low to the ground with a few big ninjas to do occasional bursts of damage and the deck won't struggle for it, but if you want to reveal the occasional bomb, I've found Treasure Cruise and Dig Through Time to be nice includes. They're cheap, do a ton of damage, can be cheated out with Delve, and can give you much needed draw power to close out a game when your opponents are starting to find answers to your ninjas. Just be aware, making each opponent lose 8 life on turn 2 for a total of 24 can make you everyone's enemy if you top deck them too early so it's good to keep them few and far apart if your following up with more budget cards for the rest of the game. Especially if the table is unfamiliar with your deck and think you're going to cause them all to explode simultaneously in just a few turns (which occasionally might actually happen XD).

@@lilpotayto this is all excellent information. Thank you for sharing. I think at first I wasn't understanding the op's question but now I get what they are asking and you've answered perfectly.

Ao now that I understand what you're asking, I will say that you want a nix of different mana value spells so that you can cast things early game. What I've learned is most important is that you want spells that manipulate yhe top of your library so you can set up what's revealed foe the most damage possible. The poster who responded is correct that you want cards like treasure cruise for the damage off the top and th ability to cast it with is built in cost reduction. However, there are only so many options available that do have both so it's a balancing act that gets a little harder in a budget. Future iterations that I've made of this dexk have a couple have had some higher mana value spells in an attempt to get a better balance. The good things about yuriko specifically though, is her ability says whenever a Ninja and not whenever one or more ninjas, so when you hit with multiple ninjas, you get multiple triggers, so even if they're all 1 mana spells, you'll get multiple pings when you attack. Like I said, it's a tough balancing act and as I build this on a budget more and more, the deck will get better and better, ut I also encourage people to give me feedback so I can i.prove them over time.

My workload currently has it so I wouldn't get to it until next year at earliest so I'll just tell you a few ways to make this more powerful. First, upgrade the lands to shock, fetches and checklands. Second, add repeatable card draw like rhystic study. Third, upgrade the ramp to things like 3 visits and natures lore Fourth, there aren't many defender creatures out there that are much better, but thing in the ice is pretty good. And finally, use better board wipes and possibly targeted removal of various things like Walkers and such. To be honest, there aren't too many cards that are expensive that will improve the deck much outside the lands, so no budget would only matter if you got og duald.

Sadlyitdoesnt fit in my pir and toothy deck cause it's barely got any Walkers in it, but if it did, I would definitely add it to the deck.

I run different Angels along with board wipes, Decree of Justice and Starnheim Unleashed. My land base is snow-covered plains with extraplanar lens as a main source of ramp. Esper sentinel and Archivist of Oogha provide card draw. My sole Planeswalker is Serra the Benevolent. I had a lot of the cards already in my collection. It was a deck I built a while back and this year gave it a heavy upgrade. It's my number one deck so I put all my resources into it. Your build is good. I would suggest it for anyone to try. Mine is based off monowhite decks I have been playing since 2004. Anyone starting out with Lyra should play yours first to get the feel and adjust accordingly. Budget gets people into the game with their favorite commanders which is the most important part of the game.

@@jasonst.george5799 absolutely agree. Budget is always a barrier and all of th cards you mentioned should definitely be in th dexk, so that a nice little upgrade guide for folks to use when they become more invested in the game.

As for the light, i do use an led light overhead that's way too bright and I use something to vlock some of the brightness. No kidding it's like the sun. Maybe I can adjust th dampening.

@@jimmygreen4260 if youre talking about 69 card formats, I would say 12-16. If you're talking commander it would probably be 15-18 depending on other factors. As for a commander itself, Bruvac in mono blue if you wanted to add a color, it would be black and then the option grow.

Also I would suggest adding bribery as it lets you take away someone’s win condition or get a bomb out for 5 mana whilst making sure they can’t draw it, fantastic card unless you’re against a pod of spell slingers

@@YOUMADSTAYMAD I had considered heliod/wb and even made a deck with it as the main goal a few years ago to know how well it works. I think k for this one I wanted to "play with my food" a little and see how longi could keep control while searching for a different win con. It's possible that ill get bored with that and just add more straightforward win cons, but that will be for a later video to decide.

@@YOUMADSTAYMAD I had bribery in my oloroe deck and it was a great way to do exactly this. I recently try took that apart so it's only recently that I had a copy of it available to me to even consider in other decks and this is easily the tip contender.

The point of Charix was to add a du NY card that if left unchecked hits really hard thanks to a bunch of other cards that make creatures hit with toughness and not power.
