Definitely showing signs of overwatering with the browning of the leaves-also my peace lily only likes filtered water so don’t use tap water. Only water when the leaves start drooping.

Hi Candy! Regarding your plant. My daughter has an identical plant. She was having the same problem as you. She now only gives the plant ice chips (no water). The plant is thriving now. Good luck! I Love your videos. You are amazing!

You need to repot it into a bigger pot and you need to stop over watering it once you figure out the water ratio it will stop turning crunchy and just be clean foliage

I would transplant it to a larger pot with proper drainage then place it by a south window for light. I feed all my plants with miracle Grow every couple weeks. Good luck

Those sandwiches look delicious. I love to make the simple things sometimes specially since we all pigged out through the holidays. I know that leftover spiral ham made them just delightful.

My peace lilies came from funerals too. I’d get a nice new pot that has drainage holes and a saucer or you can set it on a pretty plate. Rinse all the old soil off the plant and cut away all the dead stems and raggedy leaves. Repot what’s left with all fresh potting soil. Water heavily. Peace lilies need a lot of water. Water them once a week and if you find that it’s not looking good, stick it in the sink and give it a thorough soaking. It’ll thrive. I’ve had my oldest one for about 16 years and I keep dividing it when it outgrows the pot.

I would also wash the leaves with soap and water because you might have spider mites

Repot it in a new pot get it out of the basket. Put it in a very lighted area.Make sure the pot has holes in it so the plant want sit in water

Love spiral ham. If anyone lives near a Honeybaked Ham store, they sell their ham bones at a very reasonable price and there is a huge amount of ham still on the bone.
