Yeah get into the details of the 777 you're talking about, Bill Pearl got this from a guy from the late forties early 50s who at that time had 22-in arms see if you can find the original routine I know it was seven skull crushers seven behind the head tricep extensions and close grip bench press all within 30 seconds of each set of 7.

C’mon bro if that logic were true everyone would be doing chest and curls everyday.. Calves are however unique. Because for most animals they don’t invent skateboards. Scooters, bikes, cars, trains, planes, rocket ships, etc. Meaning, for most animals they have to walk. Even on rest days where long long ago we hunted every week, there were days we didn’t because we already hunted. No matter what you’d be on your calves, walking I mean, training those muscles. Some days more, some days less… again, way way back we didn’t even have chairs… so while the general logic I think is too robust, as you wouldn’t want to train biceps or chest so often. Calves are a different story. Calves in particular need to be trained often

I don’t understand how he’s hiding the sauce if you wanna be proportionate you have to work every muscle in the body consistently and at the end of the day your genetics play a part in how you’ll look you probably just don’t have classic genetics it’s not that difficult to understand lmao

Remember that this is the routine that Reeves only used for a limited time building up to the Mr Universe in 1950. 12 or 16 weeks. Before this he was deconditioned and out of shape (for him), so he put all his effort into this shorter period and this is probably not something that could be sustained all year round. Normally for other competitions prior to this he did way less volume. 27 hard sets per muscle group per week is way, way more than what the average good volume for sustained growth seems to be at (if you look at research today).

Without the use of steroids regardless what and how much he ate or how hard he trained he would had never achieved so much muscular size and won those titles. Steroids are definitely what separates the men from the boys 🤫🤫🤫

The thing I miss most about the past is the fact that men wore jeans that were tight and had the crotch matching the real crotch. Today's fashion distorts the male physique to the point that it appears that men have very short legs and a flat monobutt with no butt crack.
