Hi, you were right on converting ores to blocks! But in my defense, I don't go nowhere without torches, crafting table, food and wood. So I always had a way to convert, was a normal thing for me.

Great video beanin! I suggest you add tall shelves of books going up to the ceiling with balconies and ladders to reach the higher books. You could also put dark oak trap doors on the end of the bookshelves to make it look nicer

Very true, you can never have enough coal. I use prefer using lava buckets in my auto-smelter, as long as I find some drip stone and lava I'm good.

Also you might want to consider bringing a bed along, building in the middle of the forest during the night is a pain, mobs just won't let you get anything done :)

That bridge looks like it's gonna take a lot of stone to build, I think you may need a bigger quarry :)

Good luck with the track, in my current world I set up a powered rail system between my main base and my largest village, spent days on the damned thing. I was really disappointed when I found out it was still quicker to jump-run between the two, now it's just there, collecting virtual dust :\
