ok... the real mistake here was you had 2 people, one being a tank, call for a retreat. Instead of sticking to their call, which was the right call, a DPS backtracked on it... a DPS DOES NOT make the call to fight, that's the Tank's job and it always has been (unless the tank is a complete idiot, then someone more experienced with the content should have been making the calls, but that appears to not be the case here). Anyone else making calls without damned good reasoning behind it, should have been ignored. Period. It's basic tactics. If they guy responsible for taking the damage so no one else has to calls for a retreat, you fucking retreat. And I say this as someone who 3 manned a few of these instances with nothing but a mage (I was the mage), a healer, and a rogue AT LEVEL, due to my experience at soloing "unsoloable" content back before FFXI became a single player game. Also, pyro, you do not have to be a shut in to play MMOs. You just have to be good at managing you time and researching the content ahead of time.

The two guys leading the group, both said "Run run run" ..... Pirate did that.... and once you hear the "panic" in some ones voice, making sense of the situation is over. And one of the most angry guys coming at Pirate, is one of those who initially called out "Run" .... so I fail to see he has any merit in being angry at Pirate. And EVERYONE in that situation either started running, or hesitated. It wasn't anyone's fault but those that hesitated, in reality. And they have to own their own death, for that hesitation caused by themselves, no one else. Pirate heard 2 of the leads call out "Run", and he did. Then they get mad at him when he did what they said.
