They should make a 2dr track car with 75% removable battery you just drop down on a jack and switch over to a high performance lightweight track pack! Drive to the track on the other 75% and back home no problem, but your droping like 800lbs off of it! Those 80kw packs weight in around 1000lbs. 20KW would be enough to get you a couple of laps. Just increase the cooling a bit to make up for higher discharge speeds and temps.
@DzeiEidz
@DzeiEidz 5 күн бұрын
The problem would be the discharge rate of the half-pack. It would be like taking a megawatt out of a full pack. They can do it, but very risky. Of course in record attempts it doesn't matter if the pack dies doing it.
