Eu estava a ouvir. Um momento histórico. Dos grandes.

I suppose for Slayer, Napalm Death and Possessed the vintage gear is just more suitable.Now playing some Obituary on my horns and it sounds awful :-)

cool system, I find that you need a decent amp to drive these. I first attached my pioneer receiver but sounded absolute crap, going to set up my Nad mono's instead as these are a lot better

Awesome room. Looks good. Love all the vintage equipment. Yngwie playing in the background. My equipment is all "vintage" as well. Bought it in the 80's and still have it, except for the CD player which has been replaced numerous times. I think I have 3 CD players stacked up. Using vintage Bose speakers.

WOW! An authentic time machine ... It seems to transport us into a time when everything was more authentic, from the very soul of the music to the construction of these State of the Art equipments. The Receivers are beautiful: the Pioneers with more powerful aspect and The Marantz more discreet. But what most shook my convictions of audiofile were the Polk! How is it possible that speakers of this size have a sound with this authority, with deep bass even at low volume? I lost my balls there and they still have to be forgotten today:( Congratulations!

Hi! Many thanks for the interest. So far, nothing negative. However, I opted for vintage equipment. I have now a Marantz 6300 and a Pioneer PL-530. Best Regards from Portugal.

@PauloNunoPaiva
@PauloNunoPaiva 8 жыл бұрын
Quanto a mim, Polk Audio é... Polk Audio!

Fico grato pelas dicas... Saudações daqui do Brasil para o outro lado do Atlântico!!!!

I am a HUGE (figuratively, not literally) fan of the classic Polk Monitor 10 speakers, which were a 'sweet spot' for Polk Audio back in the day when they were a smaller, 'boutique' speaker company. I still have my original pair, purchased new in 1986! You can see them in some of my videos here on KZbin. Congrats on your system!
