Hello guys! This is my new pair of speakers Polk Audio TSX 550T with 300W of power and 8 ohms connected to my Sansui 9090DB, playing Black Sabbath. The turntable is the Thorens 160 TD and the pre phono is the Tom Evans. Enjoy it!

The turntable and receiver took me back to another time! lol. That was good stuff. Difficult to get good stuff like that nowadays, for any less than an arm, 2 legs and an eyeball. I still listen to L100 ! LOL!!

I heard them, a few days ago at my friend's home and i can't still believe it... This big towers produces the most powerfull basslines i ever witnessed: and without a shadow of distortion!!! Even at antissocial, earthshaking volume! I heard a 70's record from UFO and 2013 record from a thrash band and the most incredible is the fact there's no noteceable dirences between the two- the same snare attack, the full-bodied bass guitar... and no hint of distortion! Just amazing. Hard and Heavy fans, those are the speakers for you (however, the Sansui did is part of the job, a very good job, indeed). Long live the LOUD

+kostof007 would you suggest them for 2.0 setup ?
@kostof0078 жыл бұрын
+mrevilmailman Of course, I recommend them for a good stereo amplifier for a medium / large room. For 20 years I live happily with a pair of Venturi, but if I had the money, I buy a pair for myself.

I suppose for Slayer, Napalm Death and Possessed the vintage gear is just more suitable.Now playing some Obituary on my horns and it sounds awful :-)
