To my Daughter Ashley, Happy, happy, happy birthday! You light up the world with your energy and passion, spreading joy to everyone lucky enough to know you. Your honesty and strength inspire others, even when we don't always see eye to eye. Some say the brightest star in the universe can be found if you look closely, but your star will always outshine them all, never dimming and always lighting the way. May this be your best Birthday ever and enjoy the moment and never stop dreaming and searching for your destiny!

you don't have to move out of Los Angeles. Just get a RV or SUV.
@ashleyandallanАй бұрын
Yes that is one option for sure!! Some of our friends did van life and LOVED the experience, long-term in building wealth, peace and happiness I just think there are more sustainable cities to do it!
@ohhhhhnoooooАй бұрын
@@ashleyandallan yeah... all have to do is get rid of the car and not have to pay parking fee. Just put a huge down payment on the SUV such as Land Rover or small mini RV with bed and shower... can park at the RV park in a beautiful California location... Better than paying $2,000 a month for roach infested apartment, $200 parking fee, and $$500 for car insurance and $400 a month car payment. Might as well get a SUV or RV... all in one, sleep and go..

Hi!! I had my wedding in 2022 at Dreams Macao Beach in Punta Cana, we got married in December as well! I would definitely say don't worry about the wind with your hair, it really isn't that bad, and the bridal suite I'd you can sneak that into your budget definitely do it! The bridal suite is so worth it!!!
@ashleyandallan2 ай бұрын
Oh my gosh! Thank you so much! Did you get married on the beach? Also, how many hours did you have the bridal suite? Did all of your bridesmaids just get ready in there the whole time and then go straight to your ceremony? Really appreciate all of your help and support and major. Congratulations!
@allyciaspenske43272 ай бұрын
to help with any questions!! Our wedding started at 4 pm, I had my mom, my aunt, my husband's grandma, and my two bridesmaids in there with me, we went in around 9, and just hung out, we did purchase the mimosa package for the girls. We were supposed to have 3, but my MOH found out she was pregnant in July of 22 and doc said no go, so we only had 2, and the mimosa package covered 6 people other than the bride so that was great! They did all the hair and makeup for us! If your bridal suite is far away from where you are doing the ceremony your coordinator can get you a golf cart to take you and your girls to a drop off point for the wedding! Huge congratulations to you, your hair and makeup looked STUNNING! If you have any other questions let me know!!

Your advise about the Ardmore parking lot was a God send! Thank you. Visited Manhattan Beach for the first time yesterday. Even at 2pm, I had to circle through 4 times before getting a spot or watch as someone else took the spot. Nice to be free and without a time limit. When I left 7 hours later, someone at the very end of the lot by the exit had a toll truck there. I had to go in reverse through the entire stretch of the lot just to leave 😄

Great tips! I haven’t been there in over 10 years, and with the Olympics just happening in Paris, it was fun to see your suggestions. (P.s. I was also surprised when I found out the Moulin Rouge had topless dancers lol but also that they sang in (almost) all French. Duhh.

Such great tips. Especially the public transport/booking a spot nearby and attempting to speak French first with people. Even if it’s “hi, I speak terrible French”. Also wish I had your vid before I went! Didn’t plan anything and kinda just ended up hanging out in graveyards. But even those were pretty great.

Just stumbled on this while searching for something else. As a former TV news anchor/reporter myself (Madison, WI market). I couldn't agree with you more about wishing MMJs didn't exist. When I first started in TV news, they called it a "one-man-band" instead of MMJ, but it was the same: We schlepped the (very heavy) camera equipment, tri-pod, lights, microphones by ourselves to do the interviews, standups and live shots. My sole reason for wanting to move to a bigger market was to get out of the one-man-band scenaior. Thankfully, I landed in Madison, where all reporters were assigned fabulous videographers. But, like you, after three years there, I just couldn't deal with the shortened story length. (At one point, we were down to a buck-ten, which I thought was insane to tell a good political, economic, or business story.) I was lucky in that I didn't get sent out on a lot of the crime stories, as I was a weekday business reporter and 10 p.m. weekend anchor. (But I did cover several tornado stories in the field, which I truly loved to do, as I'm a weather geek. :) My dream job back then would have been storm chaser.) You did such a wonderful job of summarizing why the news business needs to change. The safety, financial, and overwork issues are, I believe, the reasons many ultimately get out of the business. Wishing you much happiness and success in your new career endeavors.
@ashleyandallan2 ай бұрын
I’m so glad you stumbled upon this video and thank you so much for sharing your experience as well. I really hope that as more MMJ’s come out and share their experience somehow the industry will change!! So glad you are out of that industry, safe, happy and thriving!! we are definitely creating so much more fun here and I’m thankful for the community so I can continue my creative endeavors!

The Europe of North America is Quebec City. You missed out on seeing all the pedestrianized streets in Montreal which are only in the summer.
